Services
The Premier Nursing Care Program at BEC assesses patient health problems and needs, develops and implements nursing care plans, and maintains medical records. Our experienced and trained nurses are well-equipped to administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. From advising patients on health maintenance to instructing them regarding disease prevention, our nurses in Long Island can do it all.
Our home health aides specialize in caring for children who are disabled or have sick or disabled parents. From administering medication to maintaining patient care records, condition, and progress, to report observations to a supervisor or case manager, our professional home health aides can do it all.
Personal Care Aides (PCA) provide help to elderly, disabled, or sick people. Their clients usually require a more significant amount of care than their family and friends can provide. PCAs typically travel to the client's home but can sometimes work with the client outside their home. They work with small children whose parents are incapable of caring for themselves or their children.
Assistance with toileting, ambulation, transfers, and safe nighttime trips to the bathroom, helping to reduce falls. Encouraging exercise, as directed by the health care provider to improve mobility and balance. Making and changing beds, light dusting, vacuuming, and washing floors, cleaning the kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms, and doing laundry.
They obtain a list of vacant rooms that need to be cleaned immediately and a list of prospective check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments. They assign workers their duties and inspect work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness. Besides these, they also advise the manager, desk clerk, or admitting personnel of rooms ready for occupancy.
