Bayshore Home Healthcare is committed to being at your service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We have been providing home health care services to patients throughout New York City and Long Island since 1992 and truly believe that caring belongs at home. Our staff of Home Health Care Aides, Personal Care Aides, Homemakers, Companions, RNs and LPNs are professionally trained and certified, carefully screened, insured and bonded.
Bayshore Home Healthcare is committed to being at your service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our company has been providing home health care services to the New York City and Long Island communities since 1992. A doctor's referral is not needed to start care; however, a doctor does need to sign off on all medical orders.
With New York State's CDPAP program, you can choose a family member or friend to provide your home care needs. New York's Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) is a program that allows Medicaid recipients to choose a family member or friend for their home care needs.
Bayshore Home Healthcare, Inc., is a highly experienced fiscal intermediary (FI), which is a company that provides the services necessary to facilitate the employment of a Personal Care Assistant.The CDPAP program promotes consumer independence and enables self-directed consumers and/or advocates to recruit, interview, hire, train, schedule, supervise and dismiss Personal Assistant(s) of their choice.

Would have given this place 0 stars if it weren't for the wonderful PCA my mother had the last 14 months of her life. The communication between the office and myself were very poor. There were many occasions when me or a family member were waiting for the aide to come and were either late or didn't show up with no phone call from the office letting us know. I would call the office to find out what happened and they would tell me we will call the aide to find out what happened and get back to me. There were times that they didn't get back to me. My suggestion would be to try a different agency.
