Trauma is everywhere. It is something that we are all exposed to at one time or another, either through a divorce, loss of a loved one, a car accident, a suicide of a friend or loved one, chronic illness, childhood issues, and the list goes on. We hear about PTSD a lot these days, and when we do, we immediately think of a soldier in the military that has returned with trauma and that trauma is making it impossible to live a normal life.
Laney Canejo is a mother, a yoga instructor and a transformational coach. Through her own experiences with trauma, pain, chronic illness and depression, she is passionate about empowering those who feel like they were dealt a "bad hand" in their lives.

After a breakdown of her own, Laney found solace in attending the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts where she has found purpose for her own suffering, which has awakened her to her mission to "Heal the world, on person at a time."Laney believes that each one of us comes to this life equipped with the tools necessary to live physically, emotionally and spiritually fulfilling lives.
Designed by Laney Canejo, this is a form of gentle yoga, and as it's name indicates, it is designed to transform your body, mind and spirit. It incorporates gentle poses and the breath, with Trauma Release Exercises and ends with a longer Shavasana - which will include tailored guided imagery. It is innovative in nature and very relaxing.
Gentle Yoga is a slower pace, softer yoga practice. It is designed for all beginners and advanced students alike. It is meant to alternate between flow and stationary poses as you connect with your body and show it compassion and love. Its all about finding balance in our bodies. In this practice we get our bodies in safe and controlled positions and hold them anywhere from 45 seconds to 2 minutes.
Use the power of your subconscious mind to breakthrough negative patterns of thought and behavior. Each session is customized to your specific needs and may include such techniques as age regression, subconscious intervention and or guided meditation. Helping your subconscious mind to identify negative patters of thought and behavior and replace them with positive and life changing ones.
