Best yoga classes in Tempe. Great value and beautiful location (weekend classes). Online classes on weekdays are excellent. You will receive individual attention, be challenged, and get relaxed. In particular, Jim's knowledge of biomechanics and ability to get to know his students' bodies and what adjustments they need is truly exceptional. Do yourself a favor and book a class.

My first visits to a Yoga Studio post Pandemic was amazing at Yoga Nirvana. This studio has everything I am looking for in traditional Yoga. I highly recommend Yoga Nirvana. The teachers are well trained , kind gentle. They have classes for experienced Yogi’s, folks just beginning and everyone in between. I felt like I was home. ——- Gail

I've jumped studios around the valley for about 4 years now, and this is the one I intend to call home from now on. The owner, Jim, is extremely personable and knowledgeable. His cues are pretty superb -- I feel I'm still learning new things about postures I've done hundreds of times. Jenna also teaches a really awesome flow class (creative flows with fun transitions). The community here is pretty spectacular as well. The staff and fellow students alike will ask for your name and look happy to see you when you return. A true gem of a studio.

I am so thrilled that I found Yoga Nirvana! I have been doing yoga regularly for about a year now and I have never felt as challenged as I do when attending Jim’s class. First off, he is such a kind human and made adjustments without making me feel embarrassed. If anything, I feel more confident in my yoga practice thanks to him. I have also started focusing on the positions alignment rather than going through the motions, because of how knowledgeable his classes are. He is a wealth of knowledge and is so eager to share his teachings. If you are looking for a new yoga studio that focuses on community

I bought the new student, unlimited classes, 2-week pass for just $25 and enjoyed being able to sample lots of different teachers and classes. Then, once I saw they were legit, I bought the 6-month, unlimited classes package and I’m very pleased. The teachers are well grounded, well trained, competent and caring. The studio is simple, clean, comfortable, well-organized and run like an efficient business to serve the client.
The founder, Jim, and all the teachers, have an extraordinary understanding of exercise/sports physiology, biomechanics, orthopedics and the musculoskeletal system. It is

Yoga Nirvana is a gem.
I am grateful that life brought me here. It is a place that heals you from inside out, and makes you a better person no matter what stage of life you are in at the moment. I enjoy walking to the studio, letting the calming scent, the nicely colored paints on the door— “come as you are” embrace you. The vibration here has vitality, and is peaceful at the same time. Every detail in the studio makes you physically and spiritually ready for yoga. When I walk out of the studio, my body is happy, and my heart is happier.

I've tried so many yoga studios since moving to the Phoenix Valley and finally found Yoga Nirvana through a friend. I'm so thankful I did... the energy is welcoming and the instructors are very knowledgeable. With a history of injury/trauma, I really appreciate Jim's approach to the body & the guidance he gives during class. With the variety of classes & knowledge of the instructors, there are classes for everyone, at any level.

I started practicing yoga in October 2016 and Yoga Nirvana was my first studio I tried. It was everything I expected yoga would be and more! I'm in love with the studio atmosphere Jim, the owner, and his fellow instructors have created. I felt welcomed immediately and have never felt self conscious about my flexibility despite being unconfident those capabilities most of my life. The instructors are very good at encouraging you to make each class your own and to push your limits as far as you are comfortable doing.
Not only is yoga an amazing workout, it's also incredibly for your mind. I love

I've taken yoga classes from a wide variety of studios in the Tempe and Phoenix area and Yoga Nirvana is by far the best. I love simply walking into the studio - it feels like home. There is a strong sense of community at Yoga Nirvana among the teachers and the students. I've taken a class with almost all of the teachers at the studio and have never had a bad experience. Jim, the owner, is an exceptional instructor. His alignment cues are incredibly detailed, his adjustments feel fantastic, and his classes are challenging and fun. You will fall into savasana

Yoga Nirvana has been my second home since the very beginning when their doors opened and welcomed all. After trying different studios around the valley, I found the one for me with this studio. Over the years the instructors have brought knowledge, passion, and their own love for yoga to share with the students. There are a wide variety of classes offered so that no matter where you are in your practice, you will feel and experience the benefits of yoga. The instructors do an amazing job at helping people understand what to focus on during a pose and what each pose is working to achieve. Yoga
