I have been a Pack Optical patient for more than 40 years. When I heard Dr. Packretired and I would be making a change anyway, I thought I would find a new doctor closer to home. Big Mistake. HUGE! That appointment was riddled with problems, taking 4 months to get one pair of glasses that I felt were still incorrect when I did get them.

Very happy with my new optometrist. The place is nicely laid out, and they were extremely sensitive to all needs related to sanitization. Place is spotless, and they have great procedures in place during the pandemic. They offer a decent selection of glasses and also offer a procedure that takes a pucture of your eye that can predict glaucoma, HBP, and cancer. If you are looking (pun intended) for a superlative vision-based experience I highly recommend. Oh, and they have a cool lil cardinal ceramic sculpture on one of the side tables.

Well i have driven past this place for 17 years on my way to work, i was needing some exams done so i thought here is the place i am going. i seen a few positive reviews and was going here probably no matter what. i got lucky called at 10 and was in at 3 the same day from Amber, check in was about 5 min. after that i was doing my test my dr. is Alisha and she explained all my options on the best type of lenses i needed, i was not rushed all questions were answered and Amber also helped me pick out frames since i am male and dont have the best talent at picking out glasses. but cannot say enough

Dr. Poonawalla is hands down the best optometrist I have ever visited! I'm not generally one to post a Yelp review, but my experience with her was that good! I used to regularly get styes to which all other optometrists would simply prescribe me eye drops or topical medication and send me on my way.
I was pleasantly surprised when I visited Pack Optical that they gave me numerous methods to prevent future styes along with the proper medication to treat my existing one. I am proud to say I have yet to get another stye since!

My experience at Pack Optical earlier this summer was Incredible! Dr. Poonawala took the time to explain the key parts of my eye exam, and that is something I really appreciated. I left the exam room being way more informed about my eye health. The practice staff were efficient, friendly and accommodating. And lastly, the designer frame selection was on par with a boutique optical shop in NYC or Las Vegas. Did I mention, they accept my vision insurance

Attention!!! I'm a former Army officer and pilot who has had several eye exams over the years because my vision was very important to my career. I have noticed changes to my vision recently and the VA sent me to Dr. Pack and his family. All I will say about the VA in this case is that THEY GOT IT RIGHT THIS TIME. Dr. Pack gave me the most extensive eye exam I have ever had. He explained his findings thoroughly which really eased my mind. His staff was knowledgeable and helpful on a variety of topics, especially his sister :). This is a family business which really lives up to the reputation

I took a pair of expensive Tom Ford frames to have new lenses in them. They ruined the frames by overheating them. Their solution: too bad but we won't do anything about it. The story was "nobody in the optical business would do anything about ruined frames." In other words, I messed up--I trusted them. I have never seen such terrible customer service or such nerve to provide no remedy. It's a real racket to have a "profession" with no responsibility for anything.

I switched to Dr. Pack a few years ago and its a great place. Everyone is very friendly and Dr. Pack really take the time to talk with you about what he sees. Not like those in and out places at the mall or retailers.
I travel a lot for work and have lost glasses, or contacts and Dr. Pack is always willing to send me a free set or send the prescription to me, so I can by a box while I'm out of town.
