Salon Escape

My hair turned HORRIBLE. I was strawberry blonde and went in for a root touch up. My roots came out close to strawberry blonde but I lost the color in the rest of my hair because Ashley used purple shampoo. I went in for a consultation to see if she’s capable of fixing it, she was rude and I can’t trust the salon to do anything else with my hair. Waste of my time, money and energy. A color expert at ULTA was able to help me attain a more even color but will still need color correction to get my hair back to where it was, when I return my salon in Denver. Salon Escape does not have color experts

Very nice lady, horrible service... I made an appointment and she had double booked. I let the guy go ahead of me since I figure it would be fast... 1 hour later she was ready... then, it too forever to just straighten my hair up and trim.. It was very uneven so I ended up going to another salon for it to get fixed..

I should have gone to Gene Juarez. This was my second appointment. They got hair dye in my ear canal and it leaked out of my silk pillow case. I was asked to bring in a receipt for a new pillow case and the pillow. The manager wasn’t there and they called me to come in yet again when she there. Still haven’t got repaid for the ruined pillow.

Jennifer is just wonderful. She cut my mom's hair and it was so very cute and short. My color and haircut is wonderful too. The experience there is so marvelous mom and I have a great time each time we go. Thank you Jenn for the wonderful job you do each time we come. Julie and Bea

I made an appointment this morning to get my boyfriends hair cut at 5:45 pm with Jennifer. Her son came in at the same time, because earlier she told him that she was available and he can just drop on by (before I made the appointment assumably.) He got all pissed off that she couldn't do his hair at that time and she told him to come back in 10 minutes. She rushed through my boyfriend's haircut and even tried to send him away when he had wet hair? Like are you going to even dry it? Style it? He showed her multiple pictures of what he wanted (thinned out on the sides, so it looked better

Don't waste your money or time and most important of all! don't let these fools butcher your hair. Because they will not to do anything to fix it!!!! This is my first review, you can guess my frustration.

I needed a new hair stylist and when I called they got me in the same day (today!) I went in with no idea what to do with my salt & pepper limp hair. Kristen did an amazing job! I love the new to me style! It was so nice to see her mentor a new stylist on how to work with hair like mine! Thank You so much!

Before I start I just want to say my stylist was sweet and the environment is nice. Honestly, I hate writing reviews but......I showed her a picture (I get things go into a picture but I wanted the angle) and it was not not what expected at all and even had to have her cut more in the back to give me the slightest of an angle instead of the bob she gave me. I explained at the start, even showed her the section I wanted longer at the front. What can you do when the hair is gone? In the end she said "I wasn't sure how much of an angle you wanted? Really?? My 16yr. Old daughter gave $370 on a Brazilian blow out and it was a complete waste her hair is the same and they insulted my daughter and said its because she can't not blow dry her hair like a 16yr old glam girl can't blow dry they was rude and helpful owners of the business was not able to refund her money and told us she was lied about the way she drys her hair worst business ever I will never return and I urge you to go some where else

I've see Kristin and my son sees Zach. Both are friendly and talented hair stylists.

**UPDATE**: It will be 2 years in May, as I'm sure there are some great people who work here, ZACK is still my go to!! He's done great things with my hair from color to style! NEVER fails me in feeling fabulous after he's done! He's true magic to me!
Slight negativity first: i find it pricey for just a trim! No wash, just a little off the bottom.
POSITIVE: I took a shot at coming in with no appt. I'm sure I just got lucky. But they had an opening to take care of me right away. I just needed a small trim. I have a curly hair bob. Zack was my stylist. Love his persona! He did great. I'll be coming

Walked in with my daughter today. First was not greeted by the two I assume hair stylist that walked by us they definitely worked there. I get to the front desk that was actually oddly placed in the back right corner. I asked the woman at the desk about trimming my daughters bangs and when someone may be available. The woman looks me up and down literally glanced at her computer looks back at me and says "No ones available" she didn't suggest another day or anything else.

Obviously they aren't a company that would like my money and more clientele.

Very friendly staff and beautiful salon. They don't have a very modern approach of things however. It being an Aveda Salon kinda holds them back for many services people want. They didn't offer keratin treatments and my balayage was done more like highlights. When I went to another salon to get my balayage done again(I have dark hair , so you need to go a few times for desired look)she was confused when I said it was my second time . She said a balayage was not performed and so I need to go back again.

Walked in here to get a blow out but the receptionist with the white blond hair and large mole on her face had that expression you see when someone hates their job and doesn't want to deal with the public. Asked her a few questions about price, time, etc - the normal questions and she was as short as ever. If their receptionist was rude there's no way in hell I'm letting their hair stylists touch me.

A word to the receptionist- you are a reflection of the company, and the customers first impression. Learn how to smile and answer a question like you actually have knowledge of the

Janelle did a fabulous job on my hair today. She cut about an inch off and showed me some great products to use in order to enhance my natural curls (..which I will definitely purchase the next time). I highly recommend this shop - the atmosphere, cleanliness and friendly staff have made me a loyal customer.

Had my first experience here about a week ago, I was pleasantly surprised. Janelle did an amazing job on my hair and she was awesome to talk story with the whole time. My hair was in rough shape since it had been over a year since I had anything done to my hair. It feels great and looks even better than I could've imagined.

Being new to the area, I was a little nervous trying a new hair place. I don't get my hair colored, but I really like the haircut I got from Anna! She was so nice to talk to and really listened to what I wanted. I was a little confused with the pricing, though, as I was asked when scheduling the appointment if I wanted a bow dry and I said no. I ended up getting a blow dry during my haircut without being asked, not realizing it was increasing the price. However, I feel like the price was worth a good haircut.

They have very talented hair stylists and the prices are so reasonable. Lovely atmosphere and decor. Ask for Katie!

This was my third time to salon escape and I won't be coming back unfortunately. The first time the girl was super sweet and did what I asked, I went home and found a couple things that needed fixing so I called and got scheduled the next day for a complimentary fixing. I went in the second time and a different girl fixed my hair and got it near PERFECT! About 2 months passed and my hair grew out a little bit so I decided to go back. I got a different girl. I showed her pictures of what I wanted and also explained how I wanted the outcome. I wanted it shorter in the back with a lot of layers

I came here for the first time today and Zach cut my hair. He is absolutely wonderful!! He made sure that he knew exactly what I wanted and made it happen. He gave me beautiful layers and texture, I was overjoyed! He also did an amazing job with washing my hair and putting all the right product in it. It was the best wash and cut I've had!! He's incredibly kind and funny, I will for sure be going back to him again.

Needed a new place for my family's haircuts. Good hair wash however the foil didn't even get my roots my mom wasn't crazy about her foil as well. Cut was not what either of us asked for the prices are outrageous. Not worth it will not go back.

I have been going to Bradley for about 3 years now. He's done foils for me in the past, which were always beautiful. I've had many different hair styles over these 3 years. I saw him yesterday and got the shortest cut I've ever had...it's about an inch long. I usually tell him the length I want and 'do whatever you thing will look best'. And it always looks amazing! He is a great colorist and stylist. It's good to find a stylist who you can trust!!

So I went here a couple of times and saw Anna. She did a great job the first time so I decided to go back. The second time, I wanted my hair a little blonde at the bottom, balayage ombre and by the way I have ethnic curly, thick hair. Well, at the end, my hair was about 3 different shades of color: from dark brown, to golden/orangish, to a very blond color for the remainder of my hair. My hair was so over-processed that it wouldn't flat iron properly and I no longer had texture on half of my hair, the part that was blonde. Last night was my first time here and i had my hair cut by Zack. Im super picky when it comes to my hair so i was very nervous about going to a new salon and a new hairdresser. But i was not disappointed! In fact, i got the best haircut ive ever had. Zack was sooo sweet and patient with me. He listened to everything i wanted and cut a little off at a time so he didnt go too short. I asked for texture and boy did i get texture!!! He is certainly an artist. He is so friendly and funny he had me laughing the whole time. It was a wonderful experience all the way around. The salon was clean

Kara literally gave me the worst hair cut of my life. I wanted to cut my hair shorter than i have had it in years. I explained that my hair is SO thick and I cant have it all one length. I showed her how my layers were varying greatly in lengths and thats how it needs to be otherwise it will puff out and be way too thick. She didnt listen to anything i said and just made it basically all one length with about 3 basic layers that were so close together that pretty much made my hair all one length. There was absolutely no stylistic creativity or thought put into my cut. She barely touched my side

Best salon I've had in years! I came here because the location was convenient, I got the 1st appointment available with Amanda, this was a year ago. She has been my trusted hair stylist ever since. She is magic with a scissors! Amanda styles my whole family from 5 year old son & 2 daughters to mother who won't tell me her age.
Not just Amanda but the whole salon is wonderful and friendly. My husband stop by for a cut and said it's the best of his life. Come here for all you hair needs you won't regret it.
