At Timberland Animal Hospital we understand that your pet is part of your family, so we work hard to provide the very best in veterinary care for every paw that walks through our door. We treat your pet as we would our own. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion.
We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. I have benefited tremendously from the care my pet received from Dr. Anderson. I cannot thank him and his team enough for the treatment we received when my puppy suddenly became ill. Fabio wasn't eating the food I was giving him.

Services
Timberland Animal Hospital is proud to serve the Orono ME area for everything pet related. Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Donald Volk, DVM, who is a licensed, experienced Orono veterinarian. Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise.
Our pets age 5 to 7 years for every one of ours, making yearly physicals even more necessary than our own. Therefore, our veterinarians strongly recommend annual wellness examinations to ensure that your pet receives the best preventative medicine. In addition, the earlier a problem is detected the better the outcome for your furry friend.
When you are looking for a veterinary care clinic you should be able to count on superior care and excellent service. We at Timberland Animal Hospital have assembled an expert team of veterinary professionals to bring you the best possible healthcare for your pet. We have a state of the art veterinary facility which is clean, comfortable, and efficient.
1. Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill. 2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) checks and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.
Blood tests are an essential part of diagnosing what is ailing your pet, just as they are in human medicine. Blood tests can tell the veterinarian a myriad of things, from whether your pet is dehydrated to whether he or she has anemia to whether your cat or dog is suffering from cancer. Red blood cells are used to determine a number of factors.

Don, Ann and Alicia are an AMAZING team. No matter how busy and stressed they are, they always greet me with a smile. I want to personally apologize to Alicia having to deal with my "not so polite cat" She handled him like a champ! :) I would highly recommend Timberland Animal Hospital to my friends and family.

Great clinic. I am writing this review to say that when I brought my dog in to get her Rabies vaccine she was perfectly healthy. After the rabies vaccine my dog now has congestive heart failure and renal failure 6 months later. Not a coincidence I am sure of that. Its not the clinics fault but just letting people out there know that VACCINES KILL MORE DOGS THAN ANYTHING OUT THERE. My dog now has maybe a year left to live and is suffering terribly. Ill never give any of my pets a vaccine again. If you can help it do not give your dog any vaccines if you love them.
