Amazing experience with the good folks at the Ellsworth vet clinic. Needed an emergency microchipping and rabies vaccine to get our dog into Switzerland and they were not only accommodating but prompt, professional and friendly when no one else around for a hundred miles could help us out. Archie and his family are indebted to you and we can't recommend this clinic enough.

DO NOT TRUST YOUR ANIMALS WITH THIS DOCTOR!
My beloved companion had a persistent cough, and fearing the worst, I entrusted his care with this 'veterinarian', who, after informing me he was suffering from heart disease, refused to tell me how to treat it OR how to ease his discomfort, instead insisting on focusing on an expensive flee/tick treatment (which he already had) and his rabies vaccination (which he didn't need). When I then took him to another vet to treat his heart disease, this doctor would not send his radiographs.
To add insult to injury, it was the most expensive visit to the vet

My cat has been seen by Dr. Jones and her team since they moved into my neighborhood. Dr. Jones includes the pet owner as part of her team in trying to understand, that is in clarifying diagnosis and treatment. And, she tries always to figure out what's wrong . . . to get an accurate diagnosis. This is not always immediately possible, and not always necessary, but is very important. Most recently, last winter my cat and I went through a rough time where nothing seemed to help her bouts of vomiting. Dr. Jones and her team were a great support- eventually succeeding in finding an accurate diagnosis

I called because I needed to make an appointment for my puppy to have her second round of vaccinations. With the recent pandemic most vets won’t let you in with your pet....Which is wildly unfortunate already as most of us wouldn’t leave our children to go to the doctors by themselves. I was hoping since the Gov. had lifted the mask mandate that I would at least be allowed in with her as long as I was wearing a mask.
I was met with hostility and rudeness because they are “a private business and we can do what we want.”

Ellsworth Family Veterinary Clinic is topnotch, and we highly recommend them. Professional, friendly, and kind, they take time to listen and explain everything clearly, and answer all our questions. We never feel hurried, as Dr. Jones and her team seem to focus fully on us during our appointment, making us feel important and appreciated. They get to know their patients and treat them as individuals, and our dog is no longer stressed when he goes for his appointments. Everyone who works there are excellent and their clinic is very clean and inviting.

The best vet ever. I refuse to take my animals anywhere else. Dr. Jones and staff are the greatest people to work with. They have always shown nothing but compassion for my animals, and are so knowledgeable and professional. Jim at the front desk is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet, and Cowboy the cat will be there to greet you on the front porch. It’s a good thing when I don’t have to make frequent vet visits. But a little part of me wishes I had an excuse to see them more often! I cannot recommend Ellsworth Family Veterinary Clinic enough.
