We loved our apartment before it was bought out. Now that it’s under first property, we’ve had repeated issues with our hot water heater going out. They’ve sent several people to fix it but it is broken once again. It’s been a pain to say the least. Their web portal is also not very user friendly. I can’t wait till our lease is up because I will never live in a place where they manage again.

If a tenant wants their deposit back, you have to put your own effort into cleaning the apartment. One has to scrub and sanitize the whole apartment and the oven. But, I shouldn't be charged $30 for a window blind I didn't even use. Or, $5 for a light bulb that I UN screwed. 4 lights in the bathroom is way to much. I liked the location and the neighbors were very nice. When the air-conditioner died in the middle of summer is was 85 degrees on the INSIDE of my apartment. They acted very quickly and replaced everything. I even contributed to the installation of the new unit. The workers need some

The management will tell you things that you'll never get... like good service, tennant support.
They raised the price and had my roommate and I believe we had a 6mo lease, when we had a 1y lease. And expected us to make landscaping appointments on our own, because they would "forget". Absolutely awful company to lease from!
Slanted floors, mediocre appliances, power shortages, prior property damage that they WILL blame you for. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The thought of becoming a landlord was exciting but I lacked the knowledge of day-to-day workings. Mary at First Property Management is pleasant to work with and responds to my tenants' needs in a quick. timely, respectful fashion. Explaining various landlord issues in an understandable manner is a quality Mary contributes to FPM. I would recommend Mary and her associates at FPM to handle your property management. Mary is also bi-lingual in Spanish which may come in handy for some landlords and tenants. Great work Mary!

Since I have leased from First Property Management, I have been extremely happy with the professionalism of this management company. When Covid hit last year, they worked with me more than I ever expected. If it wasnt for the people that work with me then I feel like I would not be as successful as I am today. If there are any issues with my space, they are resolved very quickly.

An organization is only as good as the people it employs, and this one is doing very well in that department. Maria in the front office is an invaluable asset to First Property. Not only is she extremely efficient when it comes to resolving any issues, she's warm and personable with a great smile that she's quick to share.
