I am a licensed clinical psychologist, providing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for clients of all ages. Common issues that I treat include anxiety, depression, ADHD (in both children and adults), panic attacks, OCD, anger, trauma, and life adjustment issues. In addition to working broadly, I also specialize in working with new mothers, helping such clients overcome postpartum anxiety and depression.
Along with extensive experience in working with such clients, as a mother myself, I bring an extra layer of empathy and understanding to the treatment as well. I have worked in the mental health field for the past 10 years, and received my doctorate from Yeshiva University in New York. I completed my post-doctoral fellowship at Kaiser Permanente in Fremont, California in the Bay Area.

Session length and frequency will be discussed and determined by you and me during a brief phone screening or during our first session. Standard sessions are 40 minutes, once per week. The cost of a 40-minute session is $250. Many clients paying out of pocket are able to be reimbursed by their insurance companies for a portion of the cost via out-of-network benefits.
This is something that we will discuss together to determine the best match for your needs. That being said, typical sessions last 40 minutes and are held once per week. As you progress towards your goals, this will likely be reduced. CBT is a method of psychotherapy treatment.
It is my method of choice because it has been thoroughly researched in a multitude of scientific experiments and shown to be effective for a broad range of psychological issues (including anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, trauma, and much more). It is considered the "gold standard" of treatments in our field.
