I attended 9-11 years ago, so hopefully this has changed. The school psychology program was weirdly punitive. They shamed people for not knowing things like how to dress professionally instead of giving them concrete advice for what they expected. (This is classist.) They required us to be over-the-top obedient to professors and supervisors, even if they were doing something unethical. Meanwhile, they taught how kids do better with a strengths-based approach in which they are listened to. This is true and does not stop when a person turns 18. The professors make students retake classes and redo

You will be ok here if you are white. Typical for-profit, gate keeping colonialist school. Dare to complain about a profesor, they will be promoted for it! But wait, that sane person in the point of contact for student concerns so why even bother!
If you are in the PhD program, mind that you wont get to pick your chair. This is so important because when these relationships don't work, you will be adding time to your time there meaning more student debt (~$1500 per cr hr).
They do have a diversity team, composed by white faculty members! What a scam.

I currently attend this school and it is the worst school I have ever been with. There staff nit picks everything and then they make you take ADP which is an academic development plan to help their students but it is mandatory and if you don't complete it you get disciplinary actions which doesn't sound like much HELP. I even got one for not adding… quotation marks around a direct quote which is considered plagiarism even though it WAS REFERENCED. Nothing about this school is for the students. The teachers and staff are all about themselves and rude with no care for others!!!! DO NOT GO

Absolute joke of a school. I participated in their adolescent psychology program. Their online classes were nightmares. I honestly feel that I would have got more education from reading psychology magazines, than what I got from this school. Charged an insane amount of money, and I have nothing to show for it, except student load debt. Do not go here!

The Applied Behavior Analysis department is extremely supportive and knowledgeable. I completed my Master’s in ABA & I am now a PhD student in the ABA program! I’ve landed successful BCBA jobs in this career & couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend it! Oh, can’t forget to mention the beautiful view of the Chicago river and skyline while you study on campus. 🤓😎

Terrible institution with awful policies that make it clear they just want money. I am a disabled veteran who was using the GI Bill and attended this school but had to leave due to medical reasons so I withdrew within a week but the way they operate caused me to be in between 2 different deadlines that charged me full price for tuition but unable to have the time bill pay for the tuition. So they’re billing me thousands of dollars for basically 1 class period. I recommend avoiding this school if you’re serious about getting a quality education without the hassle of terrible policies and poor

I attend this college and am projected to graduate in 2022 with a BA In Psychology with a special interest alcohol and drug addiction. It is a leap from the school I previously attended Argosy U, to say the least. The teachers are helpful and friendly. I love it & I am learning a lot. I highy recommend the school anyone.

I went to this school back in 2015-2016. I was living near the school at the time, but I had to move over 4 hours away after escaping domestic violence. This school hires professors that do not want to see domestic violence victims succeed. Put your money elsewhere. Here is my story:
Even with my broken wrist, I managed to complete the courses and coursework, and for a time, the professors were understanding of my situation, since I was not cleared to go back to work yet and was relying on my financial aid to pay for basic things like my phone and my health bills related to my wrist.

As a school with the words "professional" and "psychology" in its title, they are the OPPOSITE of those things. I have an entire document with evidence of discrimination, racism, and money scamming throughout my 3 years at this institution. I was a Psy.D. student in the School Psychology department.
Feel free to contact me for the document or before you make the decision to commit to this unethical institution.

From the Counseling Psychology program perspective, my experience have been exceptional! From the knowledge of the professors to the structured placement process and classroom agendas, I love it! It has been a life changer for me, considering what I’ve learned during my 2 1/2 years here. The instructors are very knowledgeable and have experience on the subjects they’re teaching. You are provided a professional development coach to help maintain stability in classes and graduate on time. Someone is always there to answer questions or help in ways they can. All staff is professional and lead
