I had an appointment scheduled for this past Saturday which was for a virtual tour. The appointment was for 1pm. I had told them that I was already familiar with what the one bedroom apt looks like, but the representative said let’s do the tour. So I scheduled the virtual tour around my busy work schedule at the hospital where I work. That Saturday I waited for a call from Independence crossing, and by five of 1 the call never came . So I called their office and a very nice answering service person who works for them apologized to me and said she would contact them, and have them call me right

I would say to you that for the money, you can find other places that have newer, more modern apartments. My kitchen was old and cabinets were falling apart, and it's the same in the bathroom. The grounds around my building were horrible with zero topsoil just a terrible clay that doesn't drain or absorb water, and creates huge puddles. The clay would get all over your shoes and thus all over your carpets. These units are so old, and they truly need to be modernized ASAP. However, the maintenance staff is very nice, and they do try, but it's obvious that they are directed to do things as cheaply

Lived here for a year and was my 1st apt in the area. The price was attractive as most of the the utilities are included. Plenty of parking spots and grounds are well taken care of. Neighbors were pleasant and friendly.
Colleen/Liz were both nice and professional.
The process of moving in was seamless.
The biggest issue I had was the old creaky wood throughout the building..i had a first floor unit and you can literally hear every footstep/conversation. Mornings were jarring as its super quiet until a person gets up. I would say i was one of the luckier ones, as my immediate neighbors werent

I would not rent in this place if it was the last place on earth my dad past away may 8 2015 and his rent was paid till the end of the month they had the balls to send a bill because he did not give 30 day notice and broke his lease . How can you give a 30 day notice when you are dead . We where told that everything was taken care of that was a lie . I hope they all rot in hell .They send a bill to my sister and she calls about it and they tell her not to worry about it . So I get a call tuesday saying if I don't pay it it will be on my credit score I never got a bill or phone call nothing . My
