Acupuncture is the technique in which very thin needles of varying lengths are inserted through the skin to treat a variety of conditions by stimulating anatomical locations on the body. The procedure is painless but sometimes accompanied by numbness which disappears after the removal of the needle.
Acupuncture is the insertion of fine needles into the body at specific points shown as effective in the treatment of specific health problems. These points have been mapped by the Chinese over a period of two thousand years. Recently, electromagnetic research has confirmed their locations.

Western medical researchers that have studied acupuncture believe acupuncture reduces pain through the body chemicals opioid peptides that provide a calming effects, or by affecting glands such as the hypothalamus that produce substances hormones which regulate the body.Acupuncture can effectively treat many acute and chronic health conditions as well as provide preventative care.
Last year I was referred to Arizona Chinese Acupuncture Centre, by a friend. I had been suffering from debilitating migraines. I had been to acupuncture before and I did not experience a noticeable difference. I never acted on this recommendation until after yet another migraine.

I get migraines from scented products, even standing in line at a grocery store with something as simple as a lady or man next, wearing cologne or perfume, will put me to bed with an excrutiating migraine. The first time I visited Arizona Acupuncture Centre and was treated by Ping Yang, I knew there was more of a possibility of being helped that all the Doctor's I had been to in the last 15 years.

Ping Yang is fantastic. I have been trying to contact Ping Yang, no one answers phone and voice mail is full. Went to the office about 11am on a Monday and the door was locked. Is she still treating patients?

I've been treated by Ping for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and IT Band Syndrome. For Carpal Tunnel, this was my first experience with acupuncture and I was very unsure about it, but a trusted friend had been treated by Ping so I gave it a chance as I didn't want surgery on my hand. I had lost grip strength and my fingers were randomly numb. With 2 visits of less than an hour, my hand was back to functioning as expected. With my IT Band, I'd been to an M.D, a D.O. and a P.T., and all they could say was exercise more stretch more and strengthen it. It did not help. Then I went to see Ping, with 5 visits

Five Stars...After years of seeing nothing but positive results on family and friends, I finally had a need to visit Dr. Ping myself. In a short series of treatments, Dr. Ping fixed a problem that my eye doctor, Ophthalmologist, and Neurologist had been unable to find/diagnose/treat. The treatments were virtually painless and I don't have to worry about any side effects...ever!

I consider Ping Yang a miracle worker. I've suffered from severe back pain for 26 years. She is the only one who can relieve my pain. I absolutely love her. I'm also a runner. Sometimes my knees and ankles act up from arthritis. But after 2 or 3 treatments I'm running again pain free. Ping knows the body and knows how to fix everything. She's even helped me with congestion.

A five-star review, profound thanks, and a heartfelt recommendation for Dr. Ping!
With gut and sleep issues - and wanting to avoid medications - I opted to try a few acupuncture sessions. Best decision ever! Relief came for me after my first session and my overall energy, health and sense of well-being have steadily improved.
Dr. Ping is an experienced and dedicated practitioner and you will be in good hands!,
