Doug and Cathy Smith began their husband-wife dental practice in Seymour, TN in 1985; two years after the duo graduated from Dental School in Memphis, TN. Their goal was to establish a small-town, community setting within their practice. To this day, the practice continues to grow with the community.

Dr Cathy Smith is Amazing!! I have been a patient of her's since 2019 or 2020. She is a very Kind, Caring, Compassionate, and Happy person!! She did an amazing job on my tooth filling and informed me every step of the way to see that I was ok while she was working on my tooth. What an amazing woman with a heart of gold and Always has a special place in my heart!! 😃😃 Also a Special Thanks to the rest of her Amazing Hygienists Team as well And My Hygienist Bethany!!

I have been going to them since I moved here 2004. I have never had a bad experience there. Dr. Cathy cares very much about your thoughts. I had to get a new tooth and she was so particular that it looked like the color of the teeth around it. Took 3 tries to get her satisfaction. Kim the office worker has been there since I came. It is nice to see a familiar face when you enter. She is always smiling. The staff is so friendly and happy. Great experience.

The entire staff was warm, professional, and friendly from start to finish. I was promptly taken back for x-rays, consultation, cleaning, and follow-up discussion. As a new patient, I was extremely pleased with with how efficient, courteous, and respectful the staff was at every level. There is such a focus on the value of the patient’s time and schedule. What a rare gem in today’s medical environment. I would definitely recommend Doug & Cathy Smith and their staff, the backbone of any successful business!
