It's great news! 1 We are not operating at full capacity, we have tables and booths available spread to meet the social distancing requirements of the Phase II reopening. 2 Please be patient with us! We are having to ask people to wait outside the building until a table/booth becomes avilable, and rest assured we are doing our very best to make sure your meal is memorable, and your wait is as minimized as possible.
3 We will be carrying on our $25 gift certificate prize drawing each week by reopening the old Cactus Club newsletter. Everybody who signs up for the email newsletter in our restaurant will be eligible for the $25 gift certificate drawing each week, plus will receive a bi-weekly newsletter on Nopales and Mexican food in general.

Great food. Never ate in the restaurant, carryout only. Spot on most of the time...recorrection! Last 2 carryout fajitas had no tortillas. We live way on the other side of town. So going back to get them was out of the question especially with gas the way it is now. We called and no solution was provided. Also, food is Luke warm.

This place was absolutely disgusting. We were sat in the bar section and I had a direct view of the salsa they serve and the chip warmer. The salsa is stored in a bucket on a shelf barely off the floor with the lid only partway on. They put a pitcher on the floor and pour the salsa in to fill up the bowls they serve. I saw a man with a large trash can on wheels dumping chips from it to the warmer. The inside of the can was so gross. The floor was also absolutely disgusting looked like it hadn’t been swept or mopped all day.
The service was excellent and the food was good by I was so grossed

I've eaten here on several occasions and have yet to be disappointed. It's not the best Mexican food I've ever had, but for more of an Americanized Mexican, it's really good.
I prefer their ACP dishes, cuz CHEESE. Ha. I ordered a half version of their ACP Tex Loco (steak, chicken, shrimp). The portions are really large so even the half was a little more than I could finish off. I love that they well do the veggies, as asked, so they're always soft and cooked through. The cheese and proteins are so plentiful so the dish isn't dry or lacking in anyway. My steak, chicken

1st time in & went on a friend's recommendation. Health rating is 95.5 We sat at the small bar in the back & it was too loud with the festive music battling with a soccer game playing loudly on the TV. The food & service was good. They have an extensive menu with lots of great selections. We will be back.

What a great find! Authentic Mexican food. The fresh guacamole was the best I have had. It's not quite what I'm used to, but it's amazing. We had tacos and a chicken dish. Everyone was happy. The staff and fellow diner were very nice. Prompt service. No frills. Prices were very reasonable.
Covid comment:
No one seemed very stressed about wearing masks.

We have been coming here so many time. When we get wrong order, we told server about this. He said he would come back. He hasn't came back. We tried to catch him. He seems to ignore us. We got another server. They were running around. We finally got the check and paid. I don't know if we come back. They were really good. This evening wasn't pleasant.

This restaurant has delicious food and serves ample portions. The problem I have with them is that they have there a little regard for Covid mitigation. Last time I was in the waiters and most of the staff were not wearing masks. In this time of the spread of Covid being so crazy everyone in the restaurant should be wearing a mask. I had to request our waiter wear one and then after that he did not. Nor did some of our servers. So enjoy the food but risk getting Covid. I can't do that and won't be back again until long after Covid has died down.

Still great today! Good food at a reasonable price. Big portions. It is bigger inside than it looks from the outside. In back, there is a full service bar which can serve drinks to your table. Pictured are lunch sized specials. Nice atmosphere and decorations. The place was 3/4 full at 2pm on a Saturday when we went. Located in a strip mall in front of the super Walmart.

This was second time trying Nopale's. Underwhelmed at best. Service was fast and good. The food lacked flavor and was unappealing. Had fajitas that tasted like unseasoned chicken on peppers and onions. The tortillas were cold. The rice was however good. My son had ACP and was almost inedible. Rice mush with boiled chicken was how he described it. Doubt we will ever return.

While coming home from Asheville, we got hungry and decided to stop in Marion for dinner. This place was the closest Mexican restaurant we found to the interstate so we decided to try it. On a Saturday evening the line was out the door! It moved fairly quickly, but there was a large party that was taking up most of the tables in the middle of the room so not sure this would happen on a normal weekend night.
The service was hit or miss. Our waiter was kind and efficient, but we'd go for longish periods without seeing him. Again, busy night so we understood.

Worst salsa I have ever had in my life, it tasted like watery Mexican ketchup that had never heard of onions or jalapeños. On the plus side the chips were good with a nice crunch to them. Can't go wrong with a house margarita on the rocks right? Wrong, I was presented the sickliest, sweetest margarita which may have never met tequila. It also came in a joke sized glass that was impossible to drink out of without spilling. Sure you could drink it with a straw but then why ask for a salted rim? I tried to go safe for mains too and ordered chicken quesadillas but ended up with cheese quesadillas

Cool decor, friendly staff and the food tastes good and comes out fast. Prices are extremely reasonable too.
On the complaint side, the margaritas were weak, the floors were mildly littered, and half the options in their salsa bar needed refills. Still, I'd give them another chance next time I'm in the area--but I'll stick to beer next time.
