Saw some very unsavory reviews and was very anxious before visiting... For no reason. Our waitress Taylor was very attentive, respectful, courteous and efficient. My wife and I both had the Lasagne with meat sauce and a side salad. The salad was nothing great, but it was good. The lasagne was very tasty and served hot with a gracious plenty cheese. It was delicious. Not to mention it was a gracious plenty. Had to take some home along with the garlic butter rolls. Outstanding. It was a bit expensive but Lake Lure, like Hawaii has everything shipped in...And the view across the lake, into the snow

We have seen this place for years. Many times as visitors and many as residents.
We always said we wanted to try it, well today we did.
To say the least we were not disappointed and we should have made the visit years ago.
Service was outstanding and Amanda was delightful to work with.
You better come hungry because boy are the portions huge. We didn't get a pizza but I did consider stealing a bite from the table next to us.
I had spaghetti and the wife had the Penne pasta - garlic knots to die for and the Italian Nachos we fantastic.
We have found our new best Italian place and you should

By far the best service we've ever had at a restaurant! Our server (Tamie) was friendly, answered our questions and was sure to double check ingredients in the dessert to make sure it didn't contain an item one of us is allergic to. She was attentive and brought us stuff without even asking. The manager walking the restaurant was great. She saw us struggling to cut through the frozen ice cream pie with a spoon as she was walking by and went to go grab a knife to make it easier for us (it was DELISH by the way, both the Andes Mint Cheesecake Ice Cream Pie and the Peanut Butter Cheesecake Pie).
