Today I stopped by Envy Nails to get my nails done. I asked for a Dip with almond Tips & for my nails to be short. Now the First Lady that I got gave me a short Stiletto type nail which is pictured below. I informed her that is not what I wanted and she went and told the people in the front so I got someone else. The next person came was a man, he proceeded to do the nails the first nail tech put on there. Went in the Sunday before Thanksgiving to get a Gel Ombre Acrylic Set and asked for Mai. She was busy at the time so they sent a guy named Alex to do my nails. I told him what colors I wanted and shape. He even asked if I wanted a manicure which was an extra 20. Once my services were done I noticed red streaks in my nails which I pointed out to him but did nothing about it. I gave it 2 days and two nails popped off and my nails quickly became dull. If you're looking good customer service this is NOT the place for you. The only thing luxurious about it is the atomosphere. I called and scheduled 2 appointments for my myself and my husband for his birthday with specific technicians. We arrived about 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time and she asks if we wanted anyone in particular. I explained that I requested someone when I scheduled the appointment and she proceeds to tell me that I can't get that technician because she has an appointment in 10 minutes. Horrible experience. I came in and asked for a soak off ONLY. I asked how much it would be they said $5... again five dollars. So I agreed and sat down. As the lady began she started drilling my nails. I said can I please just soak off and we can scrape off the nail instead of drilling. So she angrily walked away and began working on another customer. I didn't mind... I sat for about 40 min as my nails soaked waiting for her to come back. She never did... so I took my hand out of the acetone and began scraping the polish off MYSELF... they saw this so they called the receptionist over to charge

I just left after getting my toes polished and dip nails. I had a wine colored nail polish on my toes. As you can see, after paying to have my toes painted, the wine polish is still all over my toes and skin. I didn't notice until I walked outside. I went in and asked the ladies up front about it. The same lady came over with a brush and tried to "clean it up" and then blamed me for it because my wine nail polish was too dark and "I need to get a pedicure" if I want it completely off. I visited again to Envy Nail Bar and had a satisfactory experience. I will say that you need to get the gel manicure, and not the mimosa manicure with polish change. The time I went for a Gel Mani (not reviewed here) by Angel, I had NO complaints.
My mimosa mani with polish smudged again this time. You can't really tell in the picture, but it's frustrating when you can see tiny spots that have smudged. My nails were still not fully dry 2 hours after I left the facility. That fan they use is not enough to dry the regular polish. I'm frustrated with this.

I’ve had two experiences at Envy so far. I recommend making an appointment online ahead of time. It’s easier to cancel then it is to book same day.
Extremely clean, thorough and efficient. Enjoyed the free drinks we get complimentary with the services.
I had dip nails and artificial tips on my first appointment. Everything was perfect, but the nail tips were too much for my every day life so I went back to remove them and got gel nails polish. I booked my next appointment already!

The ambiance gets 5 Stars, but unfortunately the actual services don't. I've been three times and waited to write a review, giving them the benefit of the doubt each time.
Pros: Ambience, Beverages, They honor appointment times
Cons:
-Every service has been rushed
-Polish application on my toes was patchy/uneven, -Pedicure had no massage
-I asked for matching dip/toe nail Polish and left with two different colors
Overall, if you prioritize ambience, this is the place for you. If you want a great pedicure service, steer clear. Dip on my nails has been adequate.

While I do enjoy the drinks that come with my services and the sweet nail techs, I have to say that management at this establishment needs to do so much better. During my last visit, my friend had an issue which was not handled professionally by the manager. During my visit today, I treated my friend to a mani and pedicure. Envy nails offers a 20% discount for your birthday. My nail tech gave me a total which included the discount but when she returned to me, the manager stated that the discount could only be applied to the manicure and not the Dubai pedi. As of today, I saw nothing on their site
