Our Gloss Signature Manicure is the ultimate experience. It begins with nail trimming, shaping, and cuticle care, then a sugar scrub to exfoliate the hands, followed by a hand massage, paraffin wax to moisturize, and a hot towel. The manicure finishes with polish. Also known as shellac or no-chip polish, this polish is cured with an LED light so that it dries instantly, eliminating the risk of messing up fresh polish.

I visited this place yesterday. The customer service and atmosphere was amazing. However, my only issue is how my nails turned out. I got overlay mood gel acrylic. When the technician was done with my nails there were lumps and gel still on cuticles. Not to mention the product was not applied on some parts of my nails. I’m sure the technician noticed but did not bother to fix them. I’m overall disappointed with the quality since this place had great reviews.

Although I won't be back, Lori has done an amazing job with impeccable work. I’ve never left here upset the times she’s done my nails and she’s very creative and learns what the client likes. She’s also very friendly and I adored being around her. If circumstances were different, Lori would be my go to for life! Should her circumstances change, I will follow her where she goes. 5 stars for her.

I just don't understand how if you're 10 min late for an appointment, it's cancelled but when you're arrive even on time for an appointment, you still have to wait for an hour. I came in on Thursday for a full set and pedi with an appointment, had to wait over an hour to be seated....for an appointment. I even decided to split the appointment and allowed for nails to be done next day since they were so busy. The next day I came in 10 min past appointment. After waiting for 30 min to be seated....for an appointment, I saw my tech removing someone's nails.....just beginning on a new set. My slot

Wow on decor & cleanliness, but also a "non fantastic" wow. A rough manicure that involved the brash filing of my skin by my nail bed, a color I didn't even pick almost got put on me, I even think my nails got filed down so thin during removal that the solar drying actually "burned" a bit while baking the shellac on. Oh but wait...the "finish up" you know that great dousing of lotion bring massaged into your hands upon completion? Nope. My tech had gloves on, which is no problem to me. I’m really disappointed by this set. I saw many other technicians work that evening and was very hopeful. The polish is so thick, pooled, and lumpy in some places I’m amazed she didn’t see it. 7 out 10 nails have pooling into my cuticle. Either the black or the clear coat. I honestly can’t even tell if the acrylic is any good from how poorly the gel coat was applied. The shape is disappointing because it’s very angled on some sides of my nails but not on others. I didn’t notice the extent of the pooling until after I had gotten up to pay. It was the end of the night and I was not going

Update 10/24/21: I wanted to take the time to update Gloss Nail Bar review that I left about my experience on 10/17/21. I returned and let them know my issues from my experience (see previous review) and they quickly were able to get me seen. They redid all my nails, and everything is perfect. No missed spaces, no debris left in my nails creating uneven bumps. I'm not sure what caused my nails to lift 3 days after service, but I am sure that this time around it won't happen. If you ever have any issues, Gloss Nail Bar is making sure to accommodate you, and this is why my review has changed

Came here today to have a relaxing experience with a friend. Her nail stylist was super sweet and kind. however, mine was very rude. she kept asking me several times why my cuticles were the way they were. i have horrible anxiety and pick at my nails and i told her that. the entire time i got them done, she made rude comments like "have you ever even been to a salon before; do you not put lotion on your hands? Why do you still pick at your fingers; does that not hurt you when you do that?" Very embarrassing and very frustrating to me to try to enjoy a salon experience and get bothered

This place is the first place I tried in Memphis - nothing special. I was able to get in really quickly when I walked in during the morning. But the mani/pedi was nothing exceptional for the price I paid, which is outrageously high. I even ordered the pedicure that costs $15 more for the hot rocks and sugar scrub and such just to find out as she was painting my toes that they no longer do the hot rocks? Just moved to the state and found this place because of Instagram tags to memphisnails took a chance and because the girl I had nicki was so negative about help my needs it went left after asking some simple needs got nails done and today three days later they fell off she. Because I asked for regular nail polish instead of gel she treated me like she didn't care not even a little cuticle nail oil. Never Ever again.

Every pedicure I've gotten here has been excellent! I normally do the Gloss Signature pedi and it's truly relaxing and feels great. I enjoy that you aren't pushed into talking through your whole treatment because I prefer just to sit and relax. I've gotten my actual nails done twice, and both times I was pretty underwhelmed. I asked for natural looking acrylics and got short stilettos, tried again with someone else and they were so squared off that they were noticeably fake. So a definite 5/5 for pedis, but a 4/5 on manis.

This was a waste of my money. Customer service wasn't good and my nails came out ugly. A very half a** job for a high price if you ask me. This was my first time getting dip with tips and it was not a nice experience so I will have to try again going to someone else somewhere else because I'm 100% sure my nails just not look as lumpy and beginner as they do.

However, I got a manicure here just over a week ago for the first time and was realllly disappointed. Tommy did not listen when I said I wanted short nails, then he did a crappy job on the polish. Since it was shellac, I'd hoped he would take his time and make it look decent but the polish was inconsistent in layers and on my cuticle, leading to peeling polish LESS then a week later.
So, either avoid manis

I don't trust my nails to any other salon. These ladies, and fellas, know their stuff and are perfectionists. Julie is my go- to- such a fun experience! Jessica gives the most wonderful pedis, too! Highly recommend this sweet place. You'll leave with new friends- clients and techs! Pictures is dip at 2.5 weeks!

Really disappointed. After waiting 40 minutes as a walk in, I just left Gloss after getting an Ultimate pedicure and gel manicure, $123.00 with tip, and I am not pleased. I travel for work, so I'm in many different cities, and I've experienced many different levels of nail salons. That being said, my ultimate pedicure was far from it. Feet are not smooth and nice like my usual pedicures, and my manicure also left my nails jaggedy. I told Tommy multiple times that there were issues with the nails, but nothing was done. Not only was I greeted so kindly and cheerfully by the owner , I was sat right away . While I did have to wait a bit for a nail tech ( it's busy on a Sunday) they started my shellac soak off instantly . By the time there was a nail tech available my shellac came right off, so actually I did not sit there any longer than I normally would have with shellac . Usually at other nail bars they scrape and scrape it off but since they let me sit a while here the shellac just came right off without them damaging
