Directions will be shown to our Orange County office. If you're in Newport Coast, Corona Del Mar, Costa Mesa or Irvine, California, we're only a short drive away. We are closed during our lunch time (Mon-Fri 1:00-2:00pm; Sat 12:30-1:00pm) to allow us to nourish our bodies. Because we provide both medical and routine eye care, we accept a number of insurance plans to help cover the cost depending on your individual needs. Had a great eye exam and contacts and glasses fitting appointments at South Coast Opt. The doctor spent a lot of time explaining to me about issues I was having with my eyes being dry and irritated. They gave me a great eye solution and compress mask, which have worked great! Highly recommend them for any glasses or contacts needs!

Excellent staff and Optometrists who give you THE most thorough eye examination. Great selection of eyewear--I get progressive lenses with a special glare coating (see pic below) for working in front of a computer all day--it really makes a difference. I've been coming here for over five years and they really take their time with you to make sure that you're thoroughly satisfied with your glass(es).

South Coast Optometry is open again! Dr. Quon and his staff provide expert care, expedient service, and patience with my questions. The office is secure as the door is locked to limit the number of clients. With masks and gloves and frequent wipe down of all surfaces, I felt very comfortable and grateful for their care. I am very satisfied with my visit! I came out that door with knowledge I have not gotten anywhere else before and I have been wearing glasses about 20 years now. I purchased some shiny Tiffany and co frames which i love!!!South Coast optometry is the place to go to get better care for your eyes. The eye blower test (i call it) and the other cool gadgets are in one whole room which is more convenient with someone like me who gets nervous and anxious. I can’t recommend Dr. Quon and his staff enough. From the first time I visited they have always remembered my name and greeted me when I walked in. They make the process of tedious eye exams more bearable. Dr. Quon is also fantastic. He takes the time to explain everything he’s doing and provides a phenomenal amount of information regarding the health of your eyes.

I still stand by the Optometrist Dr Quon is Amazing and highly knowledgeable but at what cost.
I had my tests, new frames, progressive lenses, scratch resistant and anti-blue, computer glasses essentially. They quoted me close to $1,500 and I paid $794 minus my insurance. It sounded like a good deal; the problem is the progressive lenses made them impossible to use so I basically paid $794 for worthless computer glasses.
I was notified by the South Coast Optometry text system to come in for my next checkup. My friend said I paid way too much for my computer glasses prescription, so I went to
