Wasabi Japanese Cuisine

The sushi is great! The yaki soba is too. Try the all- you-can-eat. Good value. Oh, and the place looks nice.

For reasons inexplicable, we have passed Wasabi many times, always saying, "We'll have to try it some time..." But when our regular Japanese restaurant closed in Duluth, we finally found it convenient (and necessary) to visit Wasabi. Why in the world we never tried it earlier is a mystery and a puzzle we'll ponder for ages. Excellent! We both had a teriyaki bento with an extra side of unagi, and everything was terrific. Beautifully presented, generous, and delicious. The interior is beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the price is reasonable. What more do you want in your sushi place? Gagaku

Service was a little slow but everything else was amazing. Great good nice atmosphere and friendly service.

Worst food coupled with disgusting customer service. Avoid if you can! You're better off going to McDonald's.

Amazing food, great service. Very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. I liked every one of the dishes I tried (we did all you can eat) and I'll definitely be going here again when I'm in town and have the time.

So I've been here a ton since it opened, the quality is ok. I find that the food varies immensely from visit to visit. It seems to depend on which chef is preparing the rolls, some days it is very good some days its barely better than cat food. Overall the all you can eat menu is a great deal to try many things for a good price, just an average place to get sushi.

Our first time here. I'm from out of town staying for a few month. We went here during Saturday for all you can eat sushi. It's a lot of food! We paid about $20 cuz it's a weekend it's a dinner price. We had some side dish and order 2 or 3 sushi roll, soup, hibachi dish. I thought it was worth it. We eat most of it but couldn't finish but of course we can't take it with us the left overs. So good tho.

Fantastic food. Lots of choices. The music was a little loud and too "hip" for anyone over 40 but otherwise fine. Visually fun. Out of two of the beers we requested but had a nice Japanese beer I liked a lot. I'll be back.

This place wasn't bad. It just isn't good. All you can eat is a nice touch but the rolls were lackluster and used excessive mayo to cheapen the crab.

To be fair, I wasn't expecting it to be great. We were passing through the area and gave it a shot. We ate and it was decent. Nothing to rave about.

The sushi here is so good and the prices are even better. If you're into spicy rolls, I recommend getting the maki combo that has 3 different spicy options. I prefer this place to every sushi restaurant in the twin ports, definitely recommend!!

Great food and good prices. I stop here everytime I am in Superior Wi. I always do the all you can eat menu and it never disapoints. Wide veraity of choices and fresh hand rolled sushi.

Walked in and waited for a few minutes. There was no sign wether we should sit down or not so we sat down. A waitress passed us 6 times and never even acknowledged us. Then another waitress came out from the back room. Looked into the area. Went to a table and took their check with payment and also ignored us. We sat awhile longer and then just walked out. I can't tell you if the food is good but the service definitely is AWFUL

Had a great variety of roles and sushi very fresh. Some desserts as well the best of all for me is the fresh miso and fresh sushi yellowtail red clam Etc

Great sushi, fair prices. I ate until I could barely move, tried several different rolls and appetizers with bottomless beverages for $23 and some change on the "all you can eat" menu. Lunch special pricing for the all you can eat option is $5 less- good sushi, great price, comfortable atmosphere with the expected Japanese motif. Highly recommend for a good meal with friends or family...or even alone😁

Our server was very nice and she was very quick. They don't have too many options for rolls. The menu is a little bit more limited. The sushi was mediocre.

Okay, Okay! I know what you're thinking! "All You Can Eat Sushi? Probably low quality, buffet sushi. Sounds fishy!" This place is way better then my lame puns! I believe the sushi serves here is just as good as what is served at Hanabi in Duluth!

This place was not bad at all. The price was 19.99 for ayce for dinner. Had stopped here after my fishing trip to upper red lake. I believe it was 19.99 vs the 24.99 down here in the cities cause they don't have sashimi on the menu for ayce... bummer.
Other than that their nigiri was fresh and presented really nice. I also liked that they had raw shrimp(sweet shrimp) on their regular menu. I had to order that. Those are tasty. Their chicken kabob was also pretty darn good.... cooked just right and the sauce was perfect. The octopus balls was ok. It had more of a mush taste to it in the inside

This was pure pleasure! The hostess took as much time as I needed to help me with my order. The food came quick and looked fabulous. To me that's a big part of the experience. When I began eating my food I knew that I was going to thoroughly enjoy myself because this was delicious. The only thing that I didn't enjoy was the fact that this restaurant has the look from the previous business that was here. I wish that they would have spent more time concentrating on the authenticity of the region these Foods come from.

Its ok if you want standard all you can eat sushi. Its pretty tasty and the menu is pretty big. The service is pretty lack luster, its almost like you are a bother! I have been here 3 times and each time we have had a different waitress and they all act like your making them do something they dont want to do! Its in Wisconsin, so perhaps they dont get the Minnesota nice part!?

The other nag I dont like is it takes forever to get your next round of sushi....its like they are in no rush to get your next order.

But in the area its about the only decent place to get sushi and an ok price!

Wasabi is a good place for all you can eat for a good price ($19.99 plus tax). The sushi quality is average for an all you can eat. They also have a nice alcoholic beverage menu (imports and domestics, a bit pricey for mixers but limit yourself to 1 to 2)

I want to make sure I mention that Wasabi had a tough time in the beginning but "services" have been MUCH BETTER NOW.

The weather was nasty, so not much of a crowd. However, the service was great and the food was amazing. All you can eat, but made to order. Awesome sushi! Appetizers, sushi and main course for $19.99. We will definitely be going back!

The good: The specialty rolls are great. Filling tasty upper medium geade sushi. Prompt service that doesn't look at you with with disdain when you inevitably over eat (let's be honest. It's all you can eat sushi.)

The bad: The spicy rolls are Midwest spicy, not actually spicy. There are mediocre Vegetarian options. They charge extra for any modifications to rolls even when it decreases the cost of the roll.

You definitely can't judge this place by the outside! It looks like a converted Wendy's but the interior is sleek and tasteful. We ordered hibachi so I can't speak to the sushi but our food was great. Quick, friendly service, wonderful green tea and artfully arranged food. Tasty, too definitely worth a trip.

This place is a great place to eat sushi when you're starving. The appetizers are solid and the magic balls are outstanding. The sushi is fresh and the white tuna stands out. The staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely get your money's worth.

OK, so they don't have the best customer service skills. I have been here twice to say that's fair across the board but it's not awful! The food was very good, of course if you're comparing its not as great as Osaka but seriously people, this is GREAT for Superior community! And an All you can eat for $20?! You can't go wrong there! The price of everything on the menu beats the hell out of what you'd spend across the bridge!!!! The presentation of the establishment is beautiful also and centrally located. Support Superior's growth- i would go back for sure!!!
