There was a boat dealership occupying the same building with boats all over the lot, bot no water, hence the name "The Dry Dock." The bar and restaurant did well even though it could only seat 77 people. The idea of the Dry Dock was to be a friendly, country neighborhood bar and restaurant with great food, generous portions and reasonable prices.
The Dry Dock specializes in helping you stage great office parties and holiday gatherings for your employees. We have several menus to choose from, and will work with you to insure that your event comes off perfectly. You can decorate in advance if you like. Why have an overcrowded party in your home when you can come to the Dry Dock and have all the space you need, and you won't have to do all of the work!
How nice would it be to have just one place to handle almost all of your wedding functions? The Dry Dock offers just such a package. The Dry Dock is conveniently located 3 minutes away from the Red Roof Inn and the Country Inn and Suites in Proctor. Stopped on Saturday November 6th with my fiancé and his mother. We all ordered the Prime Rib based on the online menu. We sat in the bar area as the dinning area had a family with very loud children. The waitress walked by us at least 3 times before stopping for our drink order. After about 10 minutes, we got out our drinks and placed our orders... one rare, one medium rare and one medium all with different sides. When the meals came out the prime ribs were not with the correct sides. We were told to 'just switch them out'. The Prime Rib was not slow roasted it was grilled and very dry. I had

All lives matter kinda place. And by kinda, I mean signs all over. Just informational if you want to choose where your money goes. I wouldn't comment if they didn't feel the need to advertise it on their own.

Food was really good. Server was excellent. Pricing was higher than on menu for fish fry. Sign in entry way said 10.99 w/beverage, menu said 9.99. In actuality you have to purchase a beverage to order the fish fry. Makes sense after the fact, as sign could be interpreted either way, but could be written better, and menu should be updated. Extra Charge for using card on final receipt, that wasn't listed anywhere, and in this day and age is extremely outdated. Nothing was a big issue, but all together makes feel like you are getting ripped off, when I doubt that's the case.

Excellent stop in Duluth near a golf course and many of the nature trails of the area. Several great deals, well priced with friendly and attentive staff. The parking is usually easy and there's room for parties of most sizes. Portions are plentiful and there are options available for most tastes. Has wi-fi but you'll be enjoying your meal so much you likely won't need it. Worth a stop and has a lot of history behind it.

The “appetizer” took an hour. One plate had Buffalo sauce all over it, (nobody ordered food with Buffalo sauce) so clearly the cooks aren’t cautious of cross-contamination. Server was totally unapologetic and… did not care about customers, unless they were regulars. If you want food poisoning, this is the place to go!! Dirty place, the ceiling is covered in dust. Disgusting. Shocking the health department hasn’t shut them down yet.

The Dry dock has a great atmosphere but terrible food. Order a Pickled Crow and it came out cold as hell in the center. Sent it back and all they did was microwave it so the sandwich and fries turned to mush. Thought maybe they'd comp half the order but they didn't and offerd us some free candy bars in return..

I would give zero stars if I could. Do yourself a favor, and do NOT go here. If you need a drink, then fine, but my family and I went out for a "quick" lunch and will never be back. Once we finally got a server, two of us got their special, and one patty melt. I ordered cheese curds as an appetizer. 40 minutes later, the app and "food" came out all together, cold. The curds were advertised as "real beer battered Wisconsin cheese curds".. You could have got these from your local freezer section. With the cold fries, I was able to wring out the grease from them like

Is it possible to give no stars? I guess not, but since the server we had was very nice I suppose Dry Dock can have one star... I'll put it simply, do not eat food at the Dry Dock. First, we ordered cheese curds, they came out very fast but to describe them I'll paint a picture of soggy brown carcasses that you would imagine cheese to be inside but instead you get some kind of bland barf. Next, we both ordered the beef and pork burger which is a beef patty with pulled pork on top. Disgusting . My in-laws who are in their 80s wanted to go here for Thanksgiving. The bill for the six of us was around $90 and we had two sprites and two coffees. It was very old-school, down-home cooking. I am on a food plan and I have to eat a certain amount of vegetables and protein and avoid sugar and I did just fine. My family is all for the fats and the sugars and they did just fine too! The servers were very friendly although I did have to go to the bar a couple times to get cream for my coffee and to get a refill on my coffee, but they were very gracious and it was very busy.

If I could have rated it a zero I would have. First the wait staff, though somewhat friendly, was lost in his own world and did not check back on us unless we flagged him down, and even then he would walk by us like we did not exist. He would hand our food over another person which is a HUGE pet peeve of mine, rather than walk over towards me to set the plate down. It is rude and disrespectful - besides why would I want my food passing in front of another person's face - and the kicker was "the plate is quite warm" as it was handed to me.

I had a really great patty melt here. Seasoned well and hand pattied. I'm not a french fry fan, but they currently serve fresh cut fries. The other diners at my table were satisfied with the exception of one. This diner ordered chicken fettucine alfredo and it just tasted like it came out of a jar. The service was attentive and quick. (However, it is VERY important to know what your bar carries on tap ESPECIALLY higher priced upsell local beer and spirits). A wait staff should never say 'I don't know' to that question.

When will I learn my lesson? Everytime I go here I tell myself I'm never coming back again. Then somebody I know will say oh this was great or that was great you should try it and I go back again. This time I went for breakfast and tried their corned beef omelette. Could have been awesome. But it fell flat and was just ok. I think the corned beef came from a package of deli sliced corned beef from hormel or something. The service was deplorable I don't know what this restaurant intends tself to be. Just don't bother going here. Guarantee you will always be disappointed.

Stopped in for early dinner. It happened to be a 2-1 on burgers on the Monday we were there. Making this a very affordable meal. The location was on a golf course and a hill and had a nice view out the windows.
Our server was very nice and accommodating. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.
