Copperfield Hill
Copperfield Hill is family owned and operated. We are proud of our commitment to provide quality care and housing to those who have served us so well. We offer so much more than an apartment. A leader in senior housing since 1986, Copperfield Hill offers Assisted Living, Memory Care and Independent Living to over 250 seniors in our home town of Robbinsdale and surrounding communities.

Copperfield is so warm, welcoming and really feels like home. Since my mother has been here she has just flourished which has been beautiful to see. She has many friends, is very active and loves all the outings. She even goes to the on-site beauty salon and gets her hair done every week - she never used to do that, but now she loves it!
Services
We are delighted to introduce you to Copperfield Hill. We take great pride in our award-winning and friendly community within a community, conveniently located near the heart of downtown Robbinsdale. While some senior housing communities are prefabricate to conform to a big corporate brand, Copperfield Hill takes its inspiration from the local community.
Copperfield Hill is and always has been family owned and operated. In fact, family is part of our foundation because founder Darrel Farr built Copperfield Hill for his mother, Elva. Below, Copperfield Hill founder, Darrel Farr, describes how Copperfield Hill came to be and what it means to him and the entire Darrel Farr family.
There are lots of activities and outings for memory care residents that my mother enjoys, but she really lights up when there is live musical entertainment. She be-bops and dances around and loves to sing along. She sang in the church choir and I think it brings her back to that moment. My family was planning on looking at a few places, but once we toured Copperfield that was it.
At Copperfield Hill we are committed to listening to what is important to you. Whether it is a compliment, suggestion, complaint, question or comment we want to hear from you!. Copperfield's memory care provides the specialized programming, attention and activities specially tailored/designed to fit my mother as an individual.
Copperfield Hill offers Assisted Living, Memory Care and Independent Living to over 250 seniors in our hometown of Robbinsdale and surrounding areas. Copperfield Hill is a family owned and operated business and we are proud of our commitment to provide quality care and housing to those who have served us so well.

I have no experience with loved ones living here. However I delivered a package here yesterday. I just wanted to compliment the cleanliness and charming environment. As I was walking out I seen residents playing cards in the commons area and they looked so happy and relaxed. Definitely will recommend this to my grandmother when she starts looking for a new place. As far as first impressions go I would like to compliment the staff on that!

My dear mother was a resident of Copperfield Hill for five years, with four and one half in independent living. After a fall that resulted in a leg fracture, we placed her on managed care. Up until the fracture and isolation caused by COVID 19, she had a remarkable stay at Copperfield, making friends and enjoying the company of residents and staff. Coronavirus put a hold on most of the physical interaction with family, but she maintained a fairly positive attitude thanks to her daily contact with staff and phone calls from family and friends.
In spite of recent constraints, the Copperfield staff

My sweet 93 year old father has been a resident at Copperfield Hill for 13 months now. He is happy and content to call Copperfield home. As his daughter I couldn’t be more grateful that this is how he feels. I am ever grateful that he is receiving the excellent care and love he is so deserving of. Talk about frontline heroes; our Copperfield family has courageously kept my dad and the residents safe, active, well fed and loved during this time with Covid. Dad has often said what good people help him and that he feels so respected. Need I say more!? Selfishly, I pray that if I’m lucky enough

Caring, attentive staff who take time to talk to you and get to know you. Good food. Lots going on, always something to do. Lots of music, different performers, trips in the van. Locally and family owned. Really feels like home when you walk through the doors, everyone is treated like family.

Flies swarmed from the toilet, while touring a room, in which my loved one would stay. I left crying. Sobbing. Saddened by the unkept quarters. Unable to breathe from urine saturation in the carpets. A decision was made. Unimaginable having a loved one stay here. We will all hug a little tighter after this experience. God Bless.

The food is very bad and they steal. I had them steal from my checking account and I have had clothing stolen. The staff have master keys and things disappear, but I did find somebody wearing my clothing. I hope I die so I can be out of here The owner's family works here and they are bad news

We couldn’t be happier with the amazing staff and how they cared for our mom. If any changes were required, they reacted quickly to ensure the best for her. I would recommend them to anyone searching for assisted living.

Before finding a place for our mother, we researched many facilities and felt most comfortable to have her reside at Copperfield Hill. Their friendly attitude and help, when its needed, was impressive. The prices for all services was very reasonable and competitive. The facility itself was very suitable for the elderly and had many conveniences along with various activities one could partake in. They are concerned with the well being of its residences and check on them daily to make sure they have and get any assistance needed. We are glad we chose Copperfield Hill for our mother.

We have been Independent Living residents in a one bedroom, handicapped accessible apartment since earlier this year. We downsized from our 3 bedroom home of over 29 years. Our plan had been that our home would be our residence until we died. My wife's disability made navigating our 75 year old house near impossible, not to forget my own slowing down. We were sold on Copperfield Hill after we took the tour. The staff are friendly, dedicated folks. There are many activities in which to participate, as well as transportation being provided to churches, medical appointments, shopping, banking, and

I am giving it a low rating due to 4 troubling events related to my Mom and her safety over the last year, due to staffs lack of timely and or accurate communication with the family about potentially dangerous incidents. I talked to the nursing director yesterday and she was defensive, dismissive and cold to me, so I left a message early today for the facility Manager who was in, but never returned my call. Most of the staff is good but needs training on what types of things need to be promptly disclosed to the family. I may adjust my rating if I hear back from the manager and he agrees to provide

I brought my Mother to Copperfield Hill and have been very pleased with the facility and Care. I was initially most impressed with Sherry and Charlotte who worked very hard to find well thought out solutions to my mother’s difficult transition. All of the staff have been very accommodating to her changing needs and have been great in keeping me informed on what is going on. My mother has told me twice in the last month that she is happy and that makes me happy. I would recommend Copperfield Hill for anyone looking for an elderly living situation.

My grandparents lived here a while back and were very happy with everything. I hadn't been there in a while but was invited back recently to a 30 year celebration and unveiling of recent improvements/renovations. The place looked great and had the same warm homey atmosphere I remember from visiting my grandparents. My favorite update was the new tavern - it's decorated with old beer signs and steins and residents and guests can have a drink and order things like chicken wings and sliders from a menu. The residents seemed to love it too, this adorable man told me all about how it was great

My Dad has lived at Copperfield for 6 months and he is very happy. There are lots of activities. He usually eats lunch there and the food is pretty good. It has been clean every time I have been there. They have a free bus that takes them to the bank, drugstore, grocery store, and church. They even go to Aldi's, my Dad's favorite grocery store! The staff there have been very helpful to us and to him. They even came and hung his stuffed fish up when he moved in! Maintenance in the public areas is a little sloppy so that is why I down graded them. But it is not a very expensive

This place is horrible. They don't clean and they treat the elderly like zoo animals. They don't respond to emergency calls and use ghetto means for medical disposal such as an empty milk jug for used needles. Need I say more?
