Merriewold apartments is truly a luxury residence. I live here for over a year. Mary & Jackie are a great team, they manage the office with professionalism and excellence.
The apartments are new with gorgeous cabinets, plus full size washer & dryer.
An added bonus is direct access to the Rutgers Preserve. Of course they allow pets.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value
Management was totally out of line and extremely rude. We were doing work here and they threatened to call the police on us for trespassing. Our client who lives here has also had multiple occasions where staff was extremely rude to him too. Would not live here

Management was extremely rude to us and the client. We were working on a clients car in the parking lot and management came out screaming at us telling us they were going to call the cops. We were not bothering anyone. If they had come up and politely asked us to leave and informed us we couldn’t work there then we would have left, but the workers were yelling and threatening us calling one of the tenants a “moron” for letting us park there. Terrible experience and going out of my way in the future to make sure I never purchase/rent a property owned by these people.

This is a serious review.. We made the mistake of getting a second floor unit, you will hear your neighbors all around you. This place might be good if you are able to snag a third floor unit but keep in mind that their are tons of college students here. Don't believe it when they tell you everything is sound insulated, I'm writing this review at 11:35pm because my upstairs neighbor is stomping around.

We visited this place when we we looking for a place to live. It seemed quite nice but the front office staff are quite reluctant to engage in any kind of conversation. I understand during the pandemic a physical walkthrough is not advisable but most of the other apartments in the neighborhood do a virtual walkthrough and these guys don't even do that. How can one rent without even an inspection? Go figure!

Have had such an AMAZING EXPERIENCE from the start!!! A GREAT BIG THANKS, to Gerry and Mary for their help in making Merriwold my new home!! They took the time to listen to what I wanted and guide me to where I am now. SUPER HAPPY !!! The Apartment is spectacular. I moved in about a month ago ago and feel so at home!! Any issues are taken care of immediately by our Maintenance Dept. Rob and Joe are quick to respond to any issues that have come up. They're always on call and get the job done right away! They're great at what they do!

Extremely rude and unacceptable maintenance department. I asked for access to my companies box in the electrical room and was denied.(which is a breach of contract and a suable offense). They preceded to hang up the phone and not answer afterward. They should really just do their job instead of bickering over it and preventing me from doing mine. Please fix this asap or the next person might just report this type of behavior

Business is blazing very nice facility. It's still new, and they're continuing to build new apartments. So there is a good amount of construction still going on. The good news is, properties you get into now, no one has lived in before. They're putting in a dog park apparently soon. There's a pool, not too big, but clean. It's positioned right across from the park which makes it very convenient. They do have a shuttle that takes people to The train station, which is extremely convenient. They do not charge for that convenience. 95 overall a very nice clean place. The only
