I started shooting when I was about 14. After obtaining my Masters in Art Ed in Georgia, I had a 7 year fling as a mountain guide and ultimately settled on the Pacific Northwest after becoming a father. I started shooting a lot more again when my beautiful son was lighting up my life. People said I had a knack for capturing genuine happines in a person's portrait.
I crave taking cool photos. I want to shoot all day when I have the chance, so I became a wedding photographer. I love to be in the middle of a tear jerking moment, and ultimately, I feel honored and blessed to be able to tell someone's story. Living on a boat in the San Juan Islands put me right in the middle of the action for destination weddings.

I prefer to be there for the whole day, in a very laid back kind of 'fly on the wall' documentary approach. I'm a storyteller, and there's a lot of sweet moments well before and after the ceremony that I want to capture, (good teary emotional stuff.) I am happy to be there for as long as you will let me, because I expect your whole day will be awesome.
Well, without giving too much away, lets just say that two soulmates found each other through Instagram in the 2014. Both families quickly agreed that they should all live together. They skipped the house thing and all moved straight onto a boat and set sail on the Salish Sea. Neither of them had grown up sailing and never could have imagined they would be raising three kids on a 50' sailboat.

Adam is a fantastic photographer. We had a great time working with him and love our wedding photos. He has a very easy going demeanor and great instincts for what’s gonna look amazing. He not only captured all the small details of our wedding, but also managed to convey the feeling of our day. Looking through the photos is like experiencing the day all over again, so incredible. The whole process from beginning to end was great! We can’t recommend him highly enough.

The entire experience that Adam provided for our wedding was unsurpassed! Our pictures are literally the most beautiful wedding pictures I have ever seen! We love them and couldn't have wished for a better day on Orcas Island, or a better photographer! Special thanks to Adam's wife, Laura for helping out and getting the most candid shots throughout our special day!
