Services
From the moment you enter the Pierce Veterinary Clinic, you and your pet will receive quality care. We help care for your pet by offering quality health services through a responsive, professional team of friendly, knowledgeable, caring individuals. Your pet will receive personal attention in a state-of-the-art facility from a team that is genuinely commited to helping them live a long and healthy life.
We will perform an annual examination for your family pet to look for any undetected problems. Ears- The ear drums and canals are inspected for healthy appearance and normal amounts of wax. The conformation and skin of the ear flaps and inner ears are examined for signs of parasites or infection. Eyes- The doctor will examine the eyes for brightness and clarity.
If your pet is sick we will thoroughly examine them to determine the cause of the illness. We may then recommend specific diagnostic blood testing and x-rays to further investigate the cause. Our laboratory capabilities include: complete blood count (CBC), blood chemistry profile, thyroid testing (total T4), Activated Clotting Time (ACT) testing, urinalysis, culture and sensitivity, fecal sample analysis, ear, skin and tumor cytology.
We provide a large variety of prescription diets. A prescription diet is used by the veterinarian to help treat a specific condition such as skin allergies, urinary problems or kidney disease. During the examination, our veterinarians may discuss changing to a prescription diet if a problem is found.
Our small animal veterinarians perform routine spay and neuter procedures. We also perform other soft tissue surgeries including tumor removal, intestinal surgeries, cystotomies, and cesarean sections. In addition, we offer on site evaluation by a board certified veterinary surgeon from Veterinary Surgical Specialists, and if surgery is deemed necessary, it can be provided on site.

Absolutely LOVE the staff! I've been with Pierce Vet Clinic for several years and they've been wonderful since day 1. We have a special needs dog and they've gone above and beyond with her care as well! We couldn't be happier with the service they provide! Highly recommend them!

My wife has taken her basset hounds there for years. I appeared on the scene two-plus years ago with a cat. All the care these animals need has been provided by PVC and later today we will pick up Penny and 'migo from an eight day boarding. In sum, this Clinic excels at its mission; use it with confidence.

My dog goes up there quite frequently for these ‘spa days’ and he always comes home looking all spiffy. He’s always nice and clean, smells good, and is very happy after his grooming. The veterinary service is also top notch, no bad experiences whatsoever. I highly recommend both the veterinary and grooming services up at Pierce Vet Clinic.

Dr. Kaitlyn came out to my farm the other day and she was the absolute greatest! My poor little pig had pink eye. She was so informative and knowledgable. Which is so helpful for a new hobby farmer like myself! I will be recommending pierce vet to everyone! I am so glad I have such an amazing large animal vet in my area!
