Services
Born on a farm on the outskirts of Rome, Chef Luciano Canova grew up with his parents and grandparents where food has always been a staple that kept his family together. This passion for food led Luciano to aspire to become a chef because of the roots that were instilled in him by his Italian family life at a very young age.
Luciano has worked hard over the years to capture an authentic Italian flavor in his menu. His dinner menu captures the taste of Italy in each item. Each item is prepared with fresh ingredients from all around the world to add its own special and sophisticated flavor for each meal. The menu expands over a number of different areas similar to our lunch menu.
After enjoying one of Luciano's perfect dishes nothing is better than a glass of wine and one of our mouthwatering desserts. We also offer a number of dessert drinks that will complement any meal that you have with us. The same time and dedication that goes into preparing your meal, also goes into your desert.
The Sunday extravaganza is a special lunch / brunch menu that offers some of our favorite items for a reduced price for our customers located in Wrentham MA and nearby RI. The hours for the Sunday extravaganza are from 11:00am-3:00pm and excludes holidays. The entrees that we have available are sure not to disappoint.
At Luciano's on Fridays and Saturdays we offer live entertainment in our lounge with dancing. Whatever the entertainment is, we hope that you will enjoy what we have to offer. The times for the live entertainment are from 7:00-11:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays. We have a classical guitarist in the Riviera Dining Room most Saturdays.

Eh. Good. Fine. The reviews on Google built up the expectations. It was fine. It was good. Pricey. Been to some places with nicer decor & atmosphere if we’re being honest. Felt kind of like my grandparents old parlor that needs a little facelift and might have a weird smell (not sure) but is still charming. Lots of Gucci pocketbooks and Burberry scarves hanging around. Older gentlemen dressed a little to nice and fancy. Food was fine. Wait staff was very polite and efficient. Overall, probably wouldn’t return. Not quite what it was cracked up to be. Eh.

A phenomenal experience from beginning to end. The food was some of the best I've ever eaten and the best scollops and calamari I've ever had.
The wine was excellent and the desserts were magnificent.
Our server was likewise excellent, very friendly with an amazing memory.
I'll definitely be coming back here again and again.

She didn't show the man that pays the bill the respect. She was more interested in please my wife. Witch made me feel uncomfortable. I've been come to lucianos for over thirty years I even asked my wife for her hand there and all our celebrations and anniversary . I even go to his other Restaurants the man has special talents in food production. But I don't want to go back there because of this experience.

Although the food was excellent, we were extremely disgusted with the fact that our private room we reserved months ago for our family wedding celebration was given away to another party. When we asked how that happened, the hostess could not have been more rude. Not sure we will ever be back with the terrible way we were treated. Never received an explanation or an apology.

Thanksgiving 2021. This was our first time despite wanting to go for years. The only disappointment was being put in the back room with generic chairs and overflow tables. Bummer since we booked about 3 weeks out. But the waitstaff was outstanding. A tall young woman took great care of us. Both servers in the small room had great personalities.. old school. Loved it. 6 of us chose Turkey dinner, Prime Rib, Ham dinner, Stuffed chicken. The food was excellent and the quality control was amazing. No complaints on any. All plates had huge servings (meat not just veg) which isn't usually important

Luciano's is probably one of my favorite restaurants in the Wrentham area. The place calls to my youth and old traditional Italian food and life. If you are 40+, you will appreciate this place a lot. Any younger, and it will feel dated and old. In truth, the restaurant hasn't really changed in decades - but I'm ok with that because of the food.
Luciano's is the perfect date night restaurant. You are treated like you are someone important and the service is outstanding.

This was my first visit to Luciano’s.My husband had had dinner there a few times in the past, during business trips to the area and each and every time he would tell me how much I would love it there. He was right!
We were finally able to eat there together last weekend. It was as good, if not better, than how my husband had described it.
The restaurant itself, is large and nicely decorated. The staff was welcoming.
Our server, Cam, was very competent. He knew the specials by heart, described them in detail and graciously answered all our questions. He was attentive and respectful.

Outstanding! Food was out of this world delicious!! Authentic Italian cooking & excellent service! Meatballs were so good! Perfect! Lobster ravioli was fabulous! Husband had bone in veal chop Parmesan and it was the tastiest thing I have ever I had. Melted in your mouth delicious. Kids had chicken Parm and really enjoyed it. The focaccia bread they serve is so good! Don't know why I don't come here more often. Like a little slice of Italy without having to make the trip to the North End. Our server John was top notch. Highly recommend this restaurant!!

My friends and I went here on a whim (we were trying to go to foxboro stadium area but there was too much traffic for a preseason game). The service, food and drinks were all good. They had some extras they gave us, like two versions of bread and also cauliflower gratin (I wasn't a fan of the gratin but appreciated it nonetheless). The meals came with a salad and the house Italian dressing was good. I got a shrimp dish - Gamberi Alla Toscana - it was very good. Having driven by Luciano's many times over the years, we finally had the opportunity to go for dinner. We got there a little early, even though we had a reservation for 5:30 and promptly seated.
The food: We started off with some chianti and the bread/oil and focaccia bread. Enjoyed all of this very much. The waiter said the special was meatballs with a bit of ricotta on top. You just know we had to try that! Very good. Just the way Abner likes them.
Entrees come with a salad, with a Balsamic dressing. A little too much dressing for me, so I should have asked for it on the side

This is a place for genuine Italian food. You're at home when you walk in and the experience continues from fresh bread and focaccia to pleasant efficient service. I had the chicken cacciatore with angel hair which is fantastic. The sauce is rich and flavorful with no one ingredient standing out beyond the beautiful tomatoes. The side was a cauliflower and carrot gratin which was outstanding. A glass of Kendall Jackson Chardonnay and the meal is complete. No room for dessert but plenty of fabulous options available. Don't skip lucianos when you're down by Gillette! It does not disappoint

Okay let me start off with "WOW"! Excellent, excellent restaurant, service and food! It is a fine dining experience - pricey so if you don't want to spend some money on excellent food then go somewhere else. But let me tell you the quality of the food is well worth the $$$'s we spent here. The waitress was helpful, friendly and attentive without being overbearing or MIA. The portions were large and my hubby and I took home enough leftovers for 2 days worth. Oh and did I mention how good it all was?!

I had made a reservation for 4 for Friday night at 7:30. We arrived 10 minutes early and were seated right away. The restaurant was pretty full so I was already impressed with how fast they had seated us. From the bread to the calamari appetizer to the salads with homemade dressing to our meals, everything tasted fantastic and the timing in which the courses came out were perfect. Not going to judge an Italian restaurant by the steak, but it was more along the lines of being 3 star. It was really 'meh'. Again, not a steakhouse so was not expecting a great steak. But, the price on it (47 for 16 oz), would indicate that they are treating it like a prime cut, which it did not taste like.
However, the chicken and noodles were really good. The cappellini pasta by themselves were better than the steak, and half the price. That 'sauce' that

Super friendly host! He made some small talk with me as he kindly walked us to our table, and made us feel welcomed.
Our server came to us right away and she dropped off our menus along with filling up our glasses with water. She also dropped off some yummy breads.
We ended up ordering a shrimp scampi, a gnocchi entree, and two specials that they had that day. The special was a salmon plate.
