Services
Dr. Bruce Luong was born and raised in Kansas, where he graduated from The University of Kansas with a Bachelor Degree in Human Biology. Rock! Chalk! Jayhawk! From there, Dr. Bruce earned his Doctorate of Optometry from The University of Houston College of Optometry.
During his training, Dr. Bruce attended an internship at the Indian Health Services in Albequerque, New Mexico where he provided eye care to the Native American population in that area.In addition, Dr. Bruce has also interned at Casa de Amigos Clinic in Houston, Texas where he continued to hone his skills to provide eye care to a diverse patient population.

Myopia is the medical term for nearsightedness. Nearsighted eyes are good at seeing objects that are up close but have trouble seeing objects that are far away. This is due to a refractive error in the eye. Myopia is often inherited so if your parents wore glasses, most likely you will too. Refraction is the bending of light.
With state-of-the-art technology, your doctor can safely remove cataracts and allow patients to enjoy better vision and resume the quality of life they enjoyed before cataracts developed. Should you consider cataract surgery? To decide whether or not cataract surgery is right for you, a complete and thorough eye examination is necessary.
Cataract surgery is performed on an out-patient basis. You will not need to be hospitalized or put to sleep for your doctor to perform your surgery. The procedure normally takes less than 30 minutes and you can return home shortly after your procedure. Most people will enjoy improved vision by the day after surgery or within a few days following the procedure.

I hadn't been to an optometry office in quite some time, as I often find myself avoiding many doctor visits... Framed Eyecare did a wonderful job getting me set up for an eye exam during covid. I appreciated their attention to keeping a safe environment during a pandemic and felt comfortable the entire time. This was my first time visiting Framed Eyecare. I had a wonderful experience with the staff even before my appointment. They returned my call like they said they would, answered my questions, and were very pleasant. The exceptional customer service continued during my initial visit. All of the staff were very friendly, warm, and pleasant. Framed Eyecare turned out to be a really good find for me. I needed my regular eye exam and new pair of glasses. Dr. Bruce Luong did a great job of performing a detailed exam and explaining his findings as he went. Their office has all the latest equipment. This very modern optometry office is also nicely furnished. They go all out with strict cleaning and disinfecting of everything. The staff is fantastic. They're all very professional, efficient, and friendly. Their pricing is reasonable. I am comfortable to recommend them.

Words can’t explain the detailed care these amazing doctors administered to me. Dr. Bruce and Dr. Jessica are extremely polite, professional, and thorough optometrists, who made sure I understood every aspect of my eye health. This is my first time here purchasing frames and I love them. This office has tons of frames to choose from and they turned around my glasses really fast.
