It can be good or bad here. The med-techs for the most part have no special training ( some however do and when you come across them you count your lucky stars). It's a lot better now since Sherry took over and they are trying to improve the building.
Sometimes this place can make me feel so happy, other times I would rather bury my head in the sand.
It accepts all sorts. If you have Medi-Cal they'll work with you. They're not the worst. And there are several who really do care.

Horrible work place and residents are treated like animals. 95% of them have rash cream for bed sores or from simply not being cleaned properly. I was fired for speaking up regards to company being completely understaffed and refusing to work a facility with 50+ residents alone and management thinks that's okay . I have witnessed a resident being covered in ants while laying in her bed and I was simply told to bath her and lay her back in a infested room and she is a non verbal resident!!! I am thankful that I am out how ever very sad for the people who is in need of the help there and they aren

I had my parents at a (outwardly looking) very nice place, with lovely amenities. It was a small fortune, and as my parents health and mental capabilities declined, they couldn't use those things, and the price went up and up and up as the level of care declined. I had to move them somewhere and found SkyPark Gardens. My dad was in decline and had demential, mom was a fall risk who had some level of demetia (not as bad as papa) but could get confused. The staff was wonderful to them. They got such compassionate care. The head of Nursing was a joy to work with as my father went into hospice. She

I would give this place 2 1/2 stars for the price. If you have ever gone to other places, you know this is not a gem, but for the price, this is OK. The next step up that I have found in the Sacramento valley will almost double your price. It seems like the building is over 40 years old and needs a serious makeover. They all do their best to keep it clean and do a pretty good job. The staff has always been attentive and helps out anyway they can. They could definitely use more help, but I suspect this will increase the price quite a bit more. I have had my mom go through many different locations

My mother is here in the memory care area, she seems very happy and well cared for, the staff is very attentive and they keep her very active. Kim is my contact person , she is very educated on the needs of senior people, and participates in the activities as well. I have had my mother in a few other facilities in the Sacramento area, they may have been fancier but did not provide the level of care my mother receives here. I would highly recommend Sky Park Gardens.

This place deserve a zero. I have a family memeber staying here. She has a heart monitor. She got out of the hospital yesterday only to be told she was evicted and could not return. My sister said she was able to get in her room, but they withheld her medications for hours. They have continually harassed my sister waking her up on a hour time on purpose. I have called and asked to speak to manager Joanne. The staff continue to say she is not there. I spoke to a person by the name of Kim who was rude and could not answer general questions. She would get upset and hand up the phone. Who ever reads
