Services
The owners and associates of this community are deeply committed to service, teamwork, compassion, and integrity. We trust each other. We use good judgment in always considering resident comfort and dignity first. Everyone strives to develop and nurture a friendly environment. People who come to us for care and companionship feel better.
We refer to these values on a daily basis. We hire staff based on their demonstrated ability to live, work, and act according to these values. We only hire the best and provide a unique training approach, which brings out the best in our devoted staff. Great care and service come from the great people who work here.
The philosophy at The WaterLeaf is one of service and flexibility. Both the owners and our employees are not just committed to doing a "job", or doing the politically expedient thing. Instead, we are personally committed to doing the right and ethical thing, and from that position letting the resulting outcomes flow.
It takes many different skills from a lot of different people to provide the services and the environment at The WaterLeaf. Assisted living is about providing assistance to the elderly in the activities of daily living. But it's bigger than just that.
It involves the caregivers, certainly; but also the housekeepers, cooks, nurses, activity providers, care coordinators, maintenance people, van drivers, and front desk administrators to come together as a team to work with integrity and compassion for a purpose bigger than any one individual - providing a home-like environment to our residents. To this end, we hire only the best people.

Growing up, Paul Cimino's mother, Wilma, had provided care for an elderly neighbor. Being raised in that atmosphere of being attentive to the needs of the elderly provided an impetus for the direction his career would later take. After an honorable discharge from the U.S. Marine Corps in 1992, Paul graduated from Pacific Union College in 1993 with a B.S. degree in Public Relations.

Waterleaf in one word is a shitshow. The high female staff of this low assisted living is a disgrace to the elderly who live there, with the facade of beauty and the inner workings of a clock that's ticker is going too fast. Though in this small community there are beams of light, but few and fading.

The workers here, are disrespectful, rude, rough, and the only reason why they are there is for money, not because they want a future in health care and not because they want to help you. They will not put in care for your parents, they will not put your parents needs first before their own. I know it's hard to find a care faculty that is even decent, this is one that may look very nice from the outside and clean on the inside, but the workers, and the managers do not fit the bill. Though, I do appreciate the housekeepers, and the med techs. The housekeepers are full of heart, diligent, warm, sweet
