I remember growing up in a small California Central Valley farming town and visiting relatives in facilities generously called "retirement homes". We moved my mom to Summerset from another assisted living family that was not willing to get her transferred from the bed to the wheelchair, leaving her in bed all day. Since her relocation, she is thriving, social and so much happier. The staff at Summerset is wonderful, attentive and encouraging. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for assisted living for a loved one.

I love working with the Seniors in this wonderful facility as their hair, skin and nails expert in the salon. One of the nicest care homes I’ve been to in a long time. We are seriously considering taking my grandpa for a tour of the Lincoln location that just opened recently because of how wonderful Summerset Rancho Cordova is and all the amenities/ activities/food provided.

Sommerset, Rancho Cordova We put our folks in memory care there. The restaurant downstairs for independents is amazing. Up in memory care behind locking elevators, its a whole different story. They round up all the residents and keep them in one room so it requires less staff to monitor. We were required to pay 10,000 per month for a high level of… care as my mom came from intensive care & a skilled nursing facility. A huge bedsore from Atria negatively impacted her health. However, when she gained back weight, returned to her normal state, taken off hospice, they continued to charge

I just want to warn currect residents and future residents to check their monthly invoices carefully. Summerset is all about the money! Their rates are high. But late fees are out of this world. If you provide info from your bank proving a timely payment- they argue it was 1 day late and refuse to remove charges. They calculate charges incorrectly, do not accurately indicate correct periods- all to generate extra fees. They send out bills late and charge late fee because that did not leave enough time to pay it. Billing manager in not a professional, is rude, arrogant and will leave you on hold
