Services
We are excited that you are interested in learning more about our preschool. Blessed Lambs has grown from its small beginnings in 1997 with 20 children and 3 staff to 153 children and over 18 staff members. The preschool is a ministry of La Plata United Methodist Church and works cooperatively to help children and their families experience the love of Jesus Christ.
As a Christian Preschool, we have brought together staff members according to their talents and spiritual gifts; we encourage the staff to share these qualities with the children. In addition to having professional education and relevant experience, we require all teachers to be a professing Christian and have a genuine love and concern for young children.
We encourage parents to check the website frequently for announcements, newsletters, and additional resources. We will follow the Charles County Public School System inclement weather policy. If the Charles County Public School System issues a two hour delay then all morning programs will begin at 11am and will end at the regularly scheduled time.
