All of our staff members meet the State Licensing Requirements of Virginia for child care providers. All of our lead teachers are certified in infant and pediatric CPR and First Aid and are experienced in Early Childhood Education. All staff members must obtain continuing education credits and participate in professional development trainings annually.

Capable of communicating effectively both orally and in writing as applicable to the job responsibility. Staff who work directly with children shall be capable of communicating with emergency personnel and understanding instructions on a prescription bottle.

I love this school! My son attended from 12 weeks old until he was almost theee years old. We moved away for nine months and missed the quality child care, teaching, and nurturing he received so much that I literally relocated again mainly to be closer to the school. He has been back at Capital Kids only a week and the signs of success are already shining thru! Working full time as a mother is always difficult but, Capital Kids makes it possible and gives me great peace of mind.
