I booked a room at the ocean sands club through this vacation rental company for my birthday weekend. when i got down there, it was after 5 so the office was already closed & i had to use the lock box & come back the next morning to check in. upon arriving and getting my info out of the lock box, i realized they sent me to much smaller condos beside the ocean sands club. when i said something about it the lady at the front said it was considered comparable. but i paid for an oceanfront studio with all the pools & lazy rivers & restaurants in ocean sands. not an ocean view 2 bedroom. i would have

Second year renting same unit. No issues what so ever with unit. 1st time no issues with company, but second time was this week. Went to check in and walked into a room of 30+ families all with different problems. Double booking, units not ready hours past checking time, wrong keys etc. took hours to check into our unit all while standing nose to nose with angry people. So much for social distancing. Can not believe how many had problems. Not the fault of the workers who were trying to check us in, however with every angry person they stopped doing what they needed to do to argue with them. Took

this may be the most poorly ran business i’ve ever had to deal with. booking multiple families to the same house and then making the families that booked back in October move to a condo 15 minutes down the street. just terrible never work with this company if you can avoid it!!

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is an absolute scam - renter beware and if you're thinking of trusting your property to them to manage your beach rental, I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere.
I'll try and make a long story short, this occurred in June 2020:
We booked a N. Myrtle Beach property through VRBO, the unit was managed by MBVR, as we booked about 2 weeks from our dates of stay, we paid in full up front.
We were in communication with MBVR during these two weeks and were told to check in at the MBVR office for keys & check in information for our 4-day, 3-night

Where's our Security Deposit refund?! As snowbirds, we over wintered in a condo via this agency in Myrtle Beach. Their contract said a refund within 30 days. We've been out since April 1st and have yet to get our $500.00 back, or get a-hold of anyone RESPONSIBLE despite 2x/week calls and emails. Don't know if the pandemic has rendered the Company "dead in the water" or what's going on? Like another post facing service issues, I would BEWARE of dealing with MBVR until they are resuscitated!

If I could give them zero stars I would. This place pulled a bait and switch on my family. We booked a very nice condo through them (Brigadune 14a) I have a large family (7people) and we needed everyone to have a bed. The condo they gave us was awful! It was old...run down...not clean...not enough beds for everyone. It was so gross we left an hour after getting to the place. I will never book through them again. We ended up leaving and having to go to a property that was almost triple in price because we were in a pinch. AVOID at all cost!

As others have recently stated, I encourage all property owners and renters to stay away from this company. They are renting properties without the owners knowledge, and switching renters locations upon their arrivals. We paid for a 4 star locations and got switched to a 2 star when we arrived. We were told the 4 star was sold prior to our arrival and wasn't available. I searched the Horry County Registered of Deeds and no documents for the property were located showing it as recently sold. I then contacted the owners of the property and they advised their condo had not been sold and Mike Berry

I wish I could rate this company a zero. They don't deserve the one star. This company does not care about the customer, only the money they're getting. I recommend finding a different company to book you're next vacation with. These people refuse to respond when you have an issue and will send you to the wrong complex. Also the pictures online are not up to date as they should be. My unit was highly disappointing, as the photos made it look better than it actually was. Several items were broken within the unit, as well as finding a cockroach on the balcony within 2 hours of arriving at the unit

We recently vacationed at a place managed by this company. They seem to lack the ability to take care of situations in a timely manner. When we arrived on a Saturday, our keys did not work. It took this company until Tuesday afternoon to get the problem fixed. I find this to be ridiculous and they offered nothing for our time lost on our vacation. Who wants to leave your belongings in a place you don’t know without a properly locking door! They barely seemed sorry about the situation at all. This is a shame since we liked our condo very much. I would not recommend this company.
