This academy is well structured, goal oriented, but also practical. The only reason I stopped attending is due to my own health issues. Had they not flared up I would still be practicing with ATA. While the staff is very child oriented and focused, adults shouldn't feel deterred. They will provide you with an individualized approach to your training.

My sons Josh has been enrolled since the holidays 2021, and I have nothing but praise for the staff. They have made him and our whole family feel welcome right from day one. They always answer questions we may have and show actual interest in Josh’s progress throughout the program.
Highly recommend for anyone with kids that need help and guidance throughout their childhood while teaching them valuable life goals to strive for.

My 5 year old has been attending level 1 tigers for the last couple of months. What an amazing experience!! We love the staff, their energy and can-do attitude. They strive to give these kids the confidence they need to be successful, both inside and outside the classroom! My son leaves class feeling proud and confident. It’s wonderful to see just how well the staff works together to accomplish a common goal - setting these kids up for success in life! Both good and bad behavior is recognized on the spot, and it reinforces what is acceptable and what is not. Thank you, ATA. We’ve had the best

Our son joined about 4 months ago, and it has been his very first extra-curricular/sport activity that he's ever participated in, and I must say that it has been a wonderful experience! David is fully interested, invested, improving and making great strides in the forms and learning discipline. His favorite weapon so far is the Nun-chucks(?)that were actually gifted to him for his birthday by the school! The staff go above and beyond for their kids, and are actually here to support the parents as well. I hope if you're looking into something for your children, check out Keizer ATA, Master Clewes

From the very first moment we walked through the doors at ATA Keizer, my 7 and 4 year olds eyes lite up like they had seen a real life fairy. Everyday since then that look has continued. Thank you to Master Clews, Master Gould and all the staff for teaching my kids excellent character and values but for also your kindness and gentleness (even in the all the yelling. Ha. Ha.) that you extend to not only each of my precious kids but for every kid (and adult) in your classes. This has been the absolute best investment into my kids. Don’t hesitate in signing up, just come out and see it all for yourself

Love this place! I enrolled my sister's 3 kids and it's been a great experience helping them develop self defense skills and learn respect while helping them get exercise, discipline and build confidence. I love the mottos they say at the beginning or end of class that teach good values and habits that will benefit them later in life. The only way to level up is for them to have good behavior in and out of class. The instructors are really good at what they do.

We love the instructors! They are very informative and great with the kids. Our daughter was very shy and had high anxiety. Six months in and they have her confidence up and anxiety down. She is in their Legacy and Leadership classes and is working even harder so that some day she can be an instructor. Are younger daughter has just started and is excited to be there. All because of ATA Martial Arts Keizer! Thank you!

I train at Keizer ATA with my kids. We drive from South Salem multiple times a week because, once we started, we couldn’t think of training anywhere else. I had never been around martial arts training before, although my husband grew up in Taekwondo. From the first class I was pleasantly surprised.
The changes I have seen in my kids and myself are impressive. My son started at 6 years old and he was a wild bundle of uncontrollable wiggles. We homeschool, so days full of that were sometimes a lot to handle. Almost immediately after starting at Keizer ATA, I noticed his ability to focus on schoolwork

Master Carson Clews is an amazing instructor who really cares about his students. My son loves taking lessons and each instructor takes great care of every individual students needs. They show patients when needed but also know when to be tough. Every time we come it feels like family. Every kid has amazing fun. You will not be sorry if you sign up.

I was invited about a month ago to sign my daughter up for the promotional class. Its something she has wanted to do for some time now. The first few times was hard for her, but then came the second week and she was ready to jump right in. I am extremely happy with the instructors and each one takes the time to answer any questions you may have. Its a positive environment for kids and parents. Thank you for being great role models.

We have thought about enrolling our son in martial arts for a long time, but were unsure of where to go given the shoddy reputation of some schools. We were referred to Mr. Clews and Keizer ATA, and have been very pleased. The instructors are really top notch, and our son is learning discipline, self-defense, and other life skills that are really making a difference in his life. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a place to train and learn about more than just martial arts. Thank you Mr. Clews and team!

Me my wife and my 3 girls have been taking classes here for several years. We have been impressed with the curriculum and the staff who have gone out of their way to make all of us feel welcome. My oldest daughter (10) just achieved the rank of Black Belt after 3 years of diligent study. It has been awesome to watch her confidence increase as she has both passed and not passed testings. She has learned to be gracious in defeat and strong in victory. We recommend this school to anyone in any age group that wants to explore the world of martial arts.

I've been taking Taekwondo classes from Mr. Clews and his staff since June 2016. At first I was anxious about being the only adult in an activity that normally caters to children. However, I was quickly put at ease by the whole staff at the school. Every instructor is professional and friendly, and they are able to teach both children and adults in a safe and comfortable environment. Since I joined the school, more adults have started taking classes, and all students are very welcoming.

My daughter just started classes here and we can already see a difference at home with her attention and focus.
The instructors are great with kids and you can tell that there is mutual respect between them and the students. They teach discipline, respect for others and themselves and important life skills all while in a fun environment. The kids really take to it.
If you are looking for classes for yourself or your children, I would recommend ATA, you won't be disappointed.

My husband and I were looking into enrolling our eight year old in a martial arts school so she could learn some self defense techniques. This school offers it all! Self defense, respect, and discipline are all taught here by the awesome staff! The instructors make everyone feel welcome and help any child who is struggling. We recently enrolled our daughter in the black belt training program here and she loves it! She looks forward to class and even practices her martial arts at home! I would definitely recommend this school for anyone who is looking into enrolling in a martial arts school..and

Ireland's has provided a wonderful growing experience for my 6 and 8 year-old girls and for countless other families that I have met. The school is very clean and organized and uses Swain mats (which are very expensive, professional-grade athletic flooring). I have seen them regularly cycle out their older pads and gear to ensure that they have new and safe equipment for the students. I appreciate the investment in safety and a quality for the children.

Our daughter has been attending for over one year. The life skills that are being reinforced and taught are exceptional. If you're looking for an after school activity that will help teach a number of skills, then there is nothing better. Skills such as memorization, self-discipline, the outcome hard work and practices provides plus respect for others.
