Dr. Wayne Winnick has been in practice since 1982 serving patients in the tri-state area and specialty cases from around the world. He attended Boston University and went on to do his graduate work at the New York Chiropractic College. He has done postgraduate work in sports medicine and back pain at Harvard.

I have been seeing associates at Dr Winnick's office on and off for the last five years for issues including severe hip pain and complications after surgery, TMJ, and muscle spasms in my neck. The staff is professional, courteous, and will do anything they can to accommodate appointments.

Rachel Skolnick is a gift to my back. Within a few weeks my back pain due to L4 L5 S1 diminished greatly. Fast forward a few months and I only see her to make sure the flare ups and back throwing out does not happen again. I have almost no pain anymore. I have been a patient here for over 20 years. I have worked with all of the Chiropractors there, but I primarily work with Dr. John Schneider. They are all fantastic, but the important thing to know is that these Doctors are very passionate about what they do and how you are progressing health wise.

We took our 14 year old daughter to Dr. Winnick for thoracic outlet syndrome. She had been experiencing shooting pain down her arm off and on for six months and was unable to participate in any sports. We had seen two orthopedists and spent months at PT and it did not seem to be improving. After 6 weeks of Dr. Winnick’s treatment the pain was completely gone and she was ready to return to sports. I love this practice. The work they do, fascial manipulation, is working for me. I suffer from post-surgical pain -- two years after disc replacement surgery (XLIF at L3-L4). And these treatments, though expensive and not covered much by my insurance, are keeping me out of pain. I like the people a lot, too. I hate that it's on the east side, but you can't have everything. I highly recommend Dr. Winnick and his staff.

Let me start by saying I have always been a skeptic of chiropractors, and made an appointment upon a recommendation from a friend who said that Dr. Wayne Winnick cured him of his constant, severe hip pain, 9+ years post hip replacement that NO orthopedist, physical therapist. chiropractor or masseuse could help with. Winnick is arrogant and spent almost no time with me. After 3 sessions there was no improvement so I suggested that my neck pain might stem from something more serious and asked if I should see a neurologist. He immediately threw up his hands and called me histrionic. Not sure if he treats everyone this way or if he's just a misogynist, but the upshot is I did go to a neurologist and it turned out to be something that should not be treated by a chiropractor. Save your money (and you will spend a lot with them) -- there are far better chiropractors in NYC.

They are very friendly, overly friendly in what seems to me to be a COVER UP FOR A QUACK HOUSE! I was treated by Dr Schneider, for what was minor discomfort. After I saw him once, there was no change in my condition. The second time I was left in pain for days and had to cancel social engagements and travel because I felt so miserable and one of my legs went numb for several hours. The third and last time I was seen, he clearly 'fixed' what he had 'broken', but the mild issue I came with in the first place was never addressed. At this appointment he only spent only 11

I can't really say enough positive things - these guys unlocked a severely frozen shoulder that was ruining the quality of my life. Not only could I not raise my right arm above 90 degrees, I could not reach behind my hip, and worst of all was in so much discomfort I could not sleep.
Wayne and Leon treated me for several months, which is very expensive and also time consuming, but they did what no orthopedic surgeon could, which was to free up my shoulder such that now I cannot tell anything was ever the matter with it.
