They wouldn't renew my lease and refused to give cause, which is, in my opinion, backdoor discrimination. I refused to vacate, went to court, apparently, they don't have to give cause, which is hard to believe, being a participant in H.U.D. My biggest regret is not appealing the decision. The management has a far too close a relationship with the neighborhood watch and Newton P.D, which sounds/looks good on it's face, but has led to abuses of position by management/maintenance with no fear of God. This is all just my personal opinion. The management/maintenance are good people trying to do good

Well for starters I'd like to say that I'm currently very glad to be moving out of this apartment complex.
The current management has made it possible for me to come to this decision.
I would STRONGLY ADVISE no one live here with Laura Jones as manager. -15/10
Trust me on that.
Some other things though that I wish I was warned about before moving in.
•I've never felt the water was hot enough.
The water will get freezing cold before the half way mark on the tub. A hot shower might last for about 10 minutes.
•Security isn't very good because the door lock isn't working. (Outside door not

The management is horrible and tried to demand 401k info,divorce papers ( which there were no kids involved),being rude and unprofessional. Let me mind you she also tried saying the income of my relative would be over when I know for a fact it would not be. It is bad when I have people calling me saying they are scared to come out of their apartment because she yells at them all the time. I work with low income individuals and know how this all works and what she is doing is harassment and she will end up costing the owners when people start leaving and they all have proof of what she is doing

My family lived here for about a year and had a pretty miserable experience. I’m not surprised to see others calling out Laura Jones for being a poor property manager. On one occasion there was a leak on the floor above us, leaking down onto our furnace. We had to call repeatedly to get this fix, to the point where I was printing photos and dropping them off at the office to show the black mold growth on the furnace. Through this process, she repeatedly attempted to blame us for the leak. Yeah...
When we moved out, she also attempted to say there were damages to the unit which didn’t exist

With the reviews I’ve read before moving to Forest View I wasn’t too thrilled. I was new to town originated from Chicago and I wasn’t too pleased with people I’ve interacted with in the time I lived in Newton. This was my first time moving into my own apartment and I am extremely happy that I choose ForestView to assist me with my living. Laura has made the experience remarkable and rememberable. I lived here for 5 years and loved everything about it. The apartments are very nice and updated, central ac which is a huge bonus, in apartment laundry, and Laura Jones was very very friendly and caring. Laura was always there if you had any questions, was always willing to help out, and very understanding. The best part is how it's secluded back in the trees and there's a creek that passes by it. It doesn't feel like you're in town. This place is one of the nicest apartments in town for the price you'd pay. I would recommend this place to anyone.
