St. John's Preschool is designed to create an informal, happy and varied program for two to six year old children and meet their social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs. The child is encouraged to learn through play. We believe that play is a child's work. Children learn not only from experiences provided for them by the teacher, but also from their experimentation with a variety of materials.
We provide many first-hand experiences. Children need to actually investigate the world around them. They learn through doing, touching, seeing, tasting, smelling and hearing. The curriculum is planned so that the children can be successful at all activities, while they are also challenged to further explore, helping them build their self-esteem.

Services
St. John's Preschool and Toddler Programs are licensed by the department of Social Services of the State of California and adheres to their standards. To provide a stable environment in a changing society which supports the family, meets the community needs and provides a positive scholastic experience.
We offer a morning Preschool program 3-5 days per week from 8:30 am-12:00pm. The emphasis is to help prepare children for Kindergarten through group learning activities and interaction with other children. We have 3-5 full days of school from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. The children participate in Preschool in the morning and play activities in the afternoon.
