I'm a clinical psychologist, and I've been practicing in Atlanta since 1995. I specialize in men's issues (see details below), relationship issues, and couples therapy. I see both men and women in individual therapy, but when women select me as a therapist, it's usually because they want to better understand the men in their lives.
Most men spend their adult lives pursuing financial success and professional status. Culture programs us to do that. Our genes probably do too. Thus, it comes as a surprise to many men who, after years of hard work, achieve their professional and financial goals but discover that this does not produce the happiness and contentment they had always expected.

This is an interview I did for Psyc. TV. In it, I spoke with Scott Lilienfeld, Ph. D. (professor, Emory University) about various topics that he addressed in his highly-acclaimed book on myths in psychology. During the last few years, I have often been asked questions about the controversial topic of sex addiction.
I am not on any insurance panels, but your insurance company may provide out-of-network benefits. If so, you may be able to obtain reimbursement for a percentage of my fee. Please check with your insurance company to determine your benefits. I have a set number of sliding fee slots for people who have limited incomes.
