Since you found yourself here, my guess is that you or someone you care about is struggling with life. You may be experiencing troubling symptoms of anxiety, depression, anger, or insomnia, having painful conflicts in your relationships (with a partner, friends or family), grappling with professional or other work-related challenges, or attempting to cope with recent stress, grief, or loss.
I want to let you know that help is available, and there is good reason to believe you will come through your struggles far more quickly and productively with assistance than without it. As I'm sure you will agree, it takes a lot of time and energy to avoid facing the truth of our problems. So, if you are ready, let's get to work.

Treatment
Report
My primary role as a psychologist is to provide my clients with a safe, supportive, and growth-oriented environment in which they can learn to reduce troubling symptoms of distress, better face life's challenges, improve their relationships, and reach their full potential. My style as a therapist tends to be more interactive and direct than neutral, and I work hard to help my patients reach their goals as quickly as possible.
Insomnia
Report
Many factors of daily life can interfere with our ability to sleep naturally and restoratively. When these are temporary, such as stressful events, most people note improvement once the stressor has resolved. For a great many others, however, more chronic sleep problems are experienced, independent of their life situations.
Appointments
Report
My first contact with new patients typically occurs by phone. During a brief initial conversation, I will be most interested in learning how I can help you, and why you are seeking assistance at this time. I will also be glad at that time to answer any questions you may have about working with me, or about therapy in general, and the fees for my services.
Fees
Report
Payment is required at the time of service, and may be made by cash, check, bill pay, or Zelle. Fees are subject to change on a periodic basis. Statements are available for tax purposes, or for third-party reimbursement by insurance, FSA, or HSA plans. Please note that 24 hour advance cancellation of scheduled appointments is required in order to avoid being billed in full for the session fee.
