The foundation of the pyramid (and often the most overlooked) is your movement- It's the health and performance of your muscles and joints, tendons and ligaments. It's correcting posture and building stability. That foundation is our focus, because we believe it's not good enough to move more unless you are moving well.

There isn't another Richardson chiropractic experience like ours. At your first visit to Catalyst Spine & Sports Rehab, Dr. Ross Ellis will explain the science behind how chiropractic care works and give you a full evaluation to see if chiropractic care is right for you. If it's a good fit, we can develop a plan of therapy that is specific to your condition and health goals.

As a locally owned business dedicated to the health and well being of our community, we want to continue to provide a space where you can receive treatment with confidence. We are continuously following the CDC guidelines and recommendations very closely and are sending out this message to help encourage social distancing at this time.
A chiropractic adjustment is a common procedure in which a trained chiropractic specialist inflicts a controlled, sudden force to a spinal joint in various areas on the back. The goal of this procedure, also known as spinal manipulation, is to improve spinal motion and improve your body's physical function.
Active Release therapy (ART) is a set of techniques and practices aimed at relieving scarring and damage to muscle and tissue due to overuse or overloading. An ART session is a combination of inspection and treatment. Hands are used to evaluate the texture, tightness and movement of muscles, nerves, tendons, and ligaments.
Due to the painless and powerful healing properties, lasers are becoming more popular in medical procedures. The light from a laser therapy session penetrates through the top levels of skin into deeper tissue structures, working as a powerful anti-inflammatory treatment that can be just as effective as anti-inflammatory medications.
Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) or E-Stim, uses electrical impulses to cause muscles to contract, which in turn helps your muscles become stronger. Your muscles naturally contract in response to electrical signals sent from your brain. An EMS machine replicates this by sending electronic pulses to your motor nerves to promote muscle contraction.

Dr. Ellis has seen every member of my family for various reasons over the years. His knowledge, expertise, and bedside manner are unmatched. He is incredibly deliberate and thorough- and takes great care to make sure his patients understand the diagnosis and treatment in language non-medical professionals can digest. Patrick and the rest of the staff (including a precious pup) make Catalyst Spine and Sports Rehab a place my entire family looks forward to visiting. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. Stellar, top to bottom.

Dr. Ross Ellis and his staff always get me right. I have struggled to find the right person to help me with injuries or just a normal adjustment but i feel like every time i go in there and tell them what is wrong or where my pain is they fix it and when i am walking out i already feel better. I know they care about me and that is important. I can't recommend them enough!

Dr. Ellis is helping me with a chronic lower back pain issue. I've been treated by several chiropractors over the past 40 years, and Dr. Ellis' techniques are quicker, simpler, and more cost effective. I plan on seeing him regularly for the foreseeable future. I highly recommend him.

I saw Dr Ellis for the first time this past Tuesday and I am very pleased that someone recommended him. I had been struggling with back pain for few weeks, taking ibuprofen regularly but since my session with Dr Ellis, the pain is gone down tremendously and I haven't taken any ibuprofen since then
Patrick ( who works there) gave me a lot of stretching exercises which have been helping. I will definitely be going back regularly for adjustments
Thank you team, you have made me and my back very happy 😉

I am so glad Dr Ellis was recommended after visiting another chiropractor that said I needed a long term treatment plan. Dr. Ellis took the time to explain what was going on and that his goal was to help me do the work to avoid future issues. Patrick is patient and very knowledgeable in explaining the benefits of all stretches..Top notch Dr and team!

I went for my first session with Dr. Ellis yesterday and I'm finally glad to say that after going to multiple chiropractors I'm done looking for relief. Dr. Ellis was attentive and I was able to feel some relief in a long time. I'm ready for some more sessions to get this pain taken care of. Highly recommended.
