Alexandra Crosson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Registered Yoga Therapist. Alexandra graduated Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Education and Promotion. Then served a year with National AIDS Fund as an AmeriCorps member working with vulnerable populations to bring access to HIV/AIDS testing, prevention education and health care.
Identifying the authentic self can be one of the most challenging things one faces, finding acceptance in the self is one of the bravest. My name is Valerie Luxon and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and Supervisor. I have felt body loathing, wondering if I was being judged every time I walked into a room, questioning my self worth all because I didn't have what I thought was the perfect body.
Reaching out for help takes a lot of courage. As your therapist, I will create a safe and non-judgmental environment for you to explore your concerns. Building a trusting foundation with you is my top priority, and research has shown that a strong client-therapist relationship is one of the most important factors in successful treatment.
I'm Joanna DiCicco and I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor who specializes in the treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating.
After working in a Partial Hospitalization Program as well as the outpatient setting, I decided to become a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor to enhance my nutrition counseling skills as well as dig deeper into the research that supports this weight inclusive framework. When we are born, we have internal mechanisms to tell us when we are hungry, to stop when we are full, and the foods we need to eat in order to nourish our bodies.

Update: I recently went through my Google reviews & noticed another person who desperately needed help had a similar experience.... with the added horrible experience of being billed A YEAR LATER for services. Which is where we seem to be headed, without seeing a single bill. Keep in mind, therapy was March - June.
I'm happy to report my partner is seeing a wonderful, caring, compassionate therapist now. One who actually shows up. Ironically, this therapist knew Alex. How? From the onslaught of patients that leave her neglectful practice to seek therapy elsewhere.

Attempted to schedule and appointment with this place I actually called multiple times, the person that should be answering the phones apparently doesnt want to work today so they are intentionally answering and hanging up. I thought it maybe was a mistake so I attempted to call again and sure thing it happened again, I will find somewhere else to take my business. You will not succeed if you continue to do business like that (well actually I guess you arent really doing business at all)....

My body seemed like it would be a good place for me to try therapy. I made an appointment with Alexandra Crosson and it went okay. I made my second appointment she canceled due to some medical issues. I was understanding so we rescheduled. The day of the next appointment she canceled again saying she had some more issues medically related. She told me she would call me back that night to reschedule when she had her schedule. I was fine with that. I didn't hear from her so I ended up texting her about a week later to try and reschedule. I have never heard from her again and it's been two
