Upon arrival my first thoughts were great. Beautiful place with friendly staff in a great location. This morning while leaving, my thoughts have changed. I was kept up all night by endless people banging around, yelling, slamming doors and running up and down the stair cases which were unfortunately right outside of my room. That finally stopped about 2 am, and I was finally able to sleep. Was woken up at 6 am by someone coming down the stairs. At this point I figured if get up and pack up my stuff. Go warm up my truck since I'm here for work. And wait for the breakfast being served at 7 am. At

Thayers Inn is a very satisfiable hotel. The location is great if you are staying in Littleton. There is free parking for hotel guests down back. Since this is a historic hotel be aware the rooms are cozy and the rooms are up a flight of stairs. All the staff I interacted with have been nice and care about their guests. They offer pet-friendly rooms at affordable rates. I'd like to give this 4.5 stars if Google ratings allowed it only because the room configuration is a bit tight and the heated water for the stand up shower isn't easy to control.

Very cool old school small town inn. We stayed here after two days of camping and hiking and it was very welcome. They are very proud of their history which is cool to see and read.

I just loved staying at Thayers. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The place was clean and I felt very COVID safe. The rooms are cozy and warm with high ceilings. The winding staircase leads to a large wide open hallway. I don't like the standard big box hotel with no character. Thayers Inn has character.

It was warm that night, the window unit just didn't cool our little room. The building is super cool. Great location

The pictures on the website painted a better picture than reality. Although the room was large it had an unusual layout and not functional for a family. Access to one bedroom was through a bathroom. The bathroom was small and poorly lit and in order to prevent the sprinkler system from activating you had to shower with the doors closed (and no exhaust). Wires were exposed and there were stains and cracks in the ceiling and peeling wallpaper. There were also stains in the carpeting and it just did not feel clean. One a/c unit just did not have the oomph to cool the room. Another reviewer wrote about

This place cannot be operating to state building code requirements. Completely outdated. Old wiring that is on the outside of the walls. The floors are literally cracked and bowed well beyond normal settling issues. It is passed the charm of an old building and needs some serious structural work. Had to practically climb a mountain to get into the old claw foot tub in the bathroom. Room smelled of smoke, which was deeply imbedded in the old and stained carpeting as well as the old and gaudy wallpaper. Would not recommend to anyone. PS check out the other Yelp listing for this Inn, it has more ratings

This is our new favorite hotel and we plan to return many times! The inn is beautiful and brimming with old-fashioned charm- built in 1843! It's very comfortable and clean. We felt very safe from COVID here. And the owner and receptionists' hospitality and friendliness were above and beyond. The town is adorable too, with fun delicious food just a few doors down :)
