Called early in the morning to get some information and got their voicemail and left a detailed message. I did not hear back from anyone that day so I called the next afternoon and got someone and the information I needed. Then early evening on the second day, I get a phone call with somebody giving me information and requested today before but it already gotten. I guess they don't talk to each other.

My condominium association Boulevard South (14 units) had Alan Barberino management for ten years. The contract we had required the management company and a board of directors' member cosign every check. The service was good for the first number of years as with many management companies. When Alan pulled Sue as our bookkeeper the service started getting poorer and poorer. In the last several years, calls were never returned, email went unanswered. When a board member would ask about an email sent, Alan would say "What email"? We would say with14 units how many emails do you receive from our association

The absolute worst property manager I ever had the unfortunate reality of dealing with in my 25 years of Living on my own.
Completely delinquent in all his responsibilities as a property manager.
Likes to make up lies and stories and then has the superintendent of the building provoke you through actions including assault, damage to property vandalism, and further delinquents and any issues pertaining to whomever person complains about his management.
Some examples are storm drains that drain straight into the ground causing the building I live in to sink into the ground further and further

If I could rate them lower, I would. The office people are lovely, the property manager not so much. Absolutely impossible to get ahold of in emergencies. Allows the condo to flood due to structural damage and then never takes action to correct the issue. Also, you need him to approve car towing and he doesn't answer the phone so good luck to you if someone is blocking your garage and you need to go to work. If you're considering a property under Alan's management, I'd highly recommend reconsidering.

My fiancé and I had terrible experience. We looked at a location and loved it. Gave the application fee and all. After a couple days we never heard a response of our status. I contacted Alan multiple times to check in and see what was going on. He never replied what so ever. Finally, my fiancé was able to get through and his response was that he will return our money because he never processed our application and it was "first come, first served." !!!If that is your absurd policy then no one after your first potential tentant should have even been given a chance and the location should have been

Professional, reasonable, experienced in all real estate matters.
Alan is a common sense, reasonable person, and definitely management material, anyone that complains, is either expecting what can not be done under the management agreement, or is unhappy because he would not bend the rules to accommodate them .
With 40 plus years in buying, selling and personal property management experience, I can not think of anyway anyone could do a better job.
That's it.

Quite possibly the most unprofessional property management company. They do not perform any of the maintenance tasks assigned, they make up the most hilarious stories such as "the electrician is away for 2-3 weeks on a honeymoon, sorry we can't fix the electrical issue". If you had an issue with this company, don't bother with the BBB because they had plenty of complaints and they never responded to any. File a complaint with the Consumer Protection office (Attorney General of CT). They have a file already. Good luck to everyone!
