Excellent attention by Carl for our 89 year old mother. Good service, delicious food, historical, charming environment and lovely live music in the background. A perfect birthday celebration spot.

Went there tonight 12/11/21. The waitress/ service was good. The food was not. My sister and I got the veal picatta. My other sisster had the crabcakes. The crabcake was okay but the veal was not. It was dry and chewy. My sister was also dissatisfied with her salad which was not like ours because she asked for ceaser dressing. She had very little dressing with her salad. Our veal was very dry and the sauce was greasy. We have eaten here in the past and it was always excellent. I dont know what is going on now but very dissapointed for the cost.

Excellent food and service in a beautiful relaxing atmosphere. We really like the way they keep the old nostalgic items and furniture. Feels really homey. Will definitely be back!

Me and my husband stopped into this beautiful restaurant for the first time yesterday. Our bartender was friendly, fun and more then welcoming! We felt like we had known her for years. We never had a bartender ask for our names. Our meals were absolutely exceptional! I had scallops and risotto and my husband had salmon they were both mouth watering. We are so upset we didn’t give this place a try sooner however, we will now be frequent visitors! Thank you!

Just finished a fabulous Anniversary dinner at Emily's on Rt 10. The restaurant is dressed up for Fal,l like the lovely lady she is, inside and out. The wait staff was short staffed and amazing, very attentive considering how busy they were, and the food... Outstanding, cooked and seasoned to perfection! I had French Onion soup, a grilled Ribeye with a Marsala Demi-Glace and finished with a Black Raspberry cheesecake that was divine.. My husband had the Coconut Shrimp to start, The Seafood Combo with a delicious variety of fish and shellfish finishing with the Triple Chocolate cake, all according

Very nice restaurant. Made reservations for 6pm for 3. Surprised my wife with a visit from her dear cousin whom she missed so much. We got to talking and catching up and actually stayed 45 minutes past close. We didnt realize they closed at 8pm on a Thursday, we felt very bad when we found out. Not once did anyone come over and tell us to leave or tell us they were closed. Super friendly staff, delicious food, and just an entirely great first visit for us! So sorry we stayed passed closing!

I brought my husband for our anniversary dinner, and it was quite disappointing. They were out of menu items, even though it wasn't busy. The food took over an hour and a half. We had to say something to our waitress-who had dissapeared for that entire time. When our food did arrive it was all cold. Being 9 months pregnant, I couldn't eat the cold food because listeria might have been present. By the time they reheated it for me, we had to leave because it was very late, we were 45 minutes from home, and we both had work at 6am the next day. The live music was good and the back porch had a nice

I went out with my family for my moms birthday; service was pleasant and thoughtful but the food was poorly cooked and took over an hour to be brought out. On a slow Tuesday night with less than 10 tables that is ridiculous. As a sous chef myself, I question the absurd pricing of the food for such poor quality and small portions. The mushroom appetizer was $17 for 4 button mushrooms with *canned* crab meat; I could’ve made better at my house. For my duck entree, which was 26$, there was more rice on my plate than meat; and it was severely overcooked. My duck was rubbery and the skin was NOT seared

Had dinner with my wife at Emily's and we received great service and most of the food was good. Bacon wrapped shrimp was delicious, snapper soup was decent, crab cake was great! My wife had the ribeye steak which was very good. I got the kobe steak and it was pretty awful. It had an off taste and was very tough to chew, not what I was expecting at all. Overall we liked Emily's and would go back again but we'd avoid the kobe steak which was brought home for the dogs to "enjoy."

Just isn't what they make it out to be.
Emily's serves the equivalent of a happy meal on a silver platter. I really want to say I loved it, because otherwise I'll be hurting thinking about how ripped off I was. Service was grand, very kind waitress, she took our orders and later brought out our salads. The salad was a disappointment, there was no protein, no cheese or vegetables, not even some cheap croutons. It was mixed lettuce from a bag, the same kind you find at Walmart. It's comical looking at the vast difference in value between the plate and the food itself, you will

We have had Friday evening dinners twice in the past month. The service was very good but the meals are less than desirable.

The first time, my wife had a pasta dish that was literally swimming in olive oil, much to the point that she felt very uncomfortable afterward.

The second time, I had chicken cordon bleu that was overcooked and very dry. The vegetables for our dishes were so overcooked to the point of almost mush.

Lastly, if you choose a salad, be sure to have the dressing on the side as both our dishes were drowned.

Emily's is trying to be upscale but they have little local

Went to Emily's restaurant last nite. Very laid back atmosphere for an Inn like setting. Bartender was friendly and cocktail was spot on. Owner gave us best table in room, despite the fact we had no reservations. Food was fabulous. Did have to send back for quick warm up, but will be returning soon. Pretty drive from Chester County. Wish it were open on Sunday!

This review is based on an event we attended here so take that as you wish. The place is like an old house/hotel and it kind of takes you back in time. The floors are crooked and the bathrooms tight. The bar looks like the old west. Its dark and kind of eerie. I wonder if its haunted lol. We were there on a Sunday for a wedding. The reception was on like a deck which was covered since it was raining. That worked out well for the weather. They had a buffet out for appetizers which consisted of two kinds of meatballs, stuffed mushrooms, and weenies. The appetizers were nothing to write

My family used to eat here all the time so it was a no brainer when we wanted to go out. We ended up regretting it! We had 5:30 reservations and left after 9:00! Service was so slow I almost went back to expedite!

The waiter "Tim" did not seem to care about his job ignoring our 5 top and getting several orders incorrect even lying to us insisting that the bar had something we were later told they did not. Nothing personal but we were dropping bank on drinks and high end food was it too much to ask for service with a smile or even just a check in to see if we wanted drinks (Tim, we would

While I have eaten at Emily's in the past, even with a large group for a Christmas lunch, I was sadly disappointed with a group of only seven from work for a Tuesday lunch. Part of our group arrived at noon and the rest arrived at 12:15. We placed our order and waited what seemed like a very long time.

The waitress came out and told us that one of the cooks had left with a migraine, which was the reason for the delay. A gentleman who must have been the owner came out later and explained to us that something was wrong with the printer, which supposedly was why our order was delayed since
