Mony lied and cheated. When I told him so, he yelled and waived his arms around like he wanted to fight. I took my boat, left, and contacted the attorney general. Two weeks later I was refunded the money that Money had tried to steal from me.
I notice from other reviews that Mony lies, cheats, and yells at you for saying so with some regularity. If your brother is not a lawyer, like another disgruntled client of theirs below, simply stop arguing with Mony. He will be yelling and waving his hands just like in these reviews.

This shop was great from beginning to end. Had to replace broken flywheel in mid-season. They took my boat immediately, gave me quote on the first call and the quote was basically what I paid. - I worked with Mony on final repairs - he carefully listen details on issue and proposed a solution. Boat repair done in 7 days.(other shops asked for much more money and had a 30 day wait time). Definitely recommend them!

I was very impressed with these guys.  I am a retired executive with the Boeing company and I have seen their shop on the other side of the Duwamish (right at the base of the South Park bridge) from my office for years but never stopped by.
I left a voicemail message and emailed them over the 4th of July weekend to see if i could get my 8 hp Yamaha into be be looked at.  They were obviously closed but Mo responded to my email very quickly that weekend (while they were closed) and told me to bring it in anytime on Wed after they opened.  Mony (Mo's husband) was there at 8 a.m. when

I've had good experiences with these guys.
They fixed the carb on my old Honda B100 and they had parts for that old motor that I couldn't even find online.
They did annual service on my Honda 75 4-stoike and it runs pretty sweet now. I've had it serviced elsewhere for years and it never ran this well.
Service is pretty quick as far as I can tell. Mony is a nice guy and will try to help with advice. I've had the mechanics do the same, unprompted.
If you're moored at South Park they'll come to your slip to check out your issue. Pretty good deal.

Overpriced $200/hour, slow, and careless.
8/20 update
Boat engine would not start. Likely due to water damage caused by repair shop carelessness.
8/15 update
Boat top speed was going lower, and alarm was starting to go off when going above 20. Took it in to Rick's. They said it was overheating but couldn't figure out the problem and kept changing things, water pump, electric fuse, wiring, and even the temperature gage which turned out to be fine. The alarm stopped, but the new temp gage which doesn't mast he my other gages, shows even higher temp close to 200.

I had a 23.5 foot Bayliner Cuddy and now a 30 Searay Cruiser. I thank Mony for keeping my family safe by doing the work right the first time. Mony has the knowledge and experience to guide you into making the right decisions for repairs on your boat. He mentioned making a claim with my insurance company when my outdrive broke. Something I would have never thought about and he will always take the time to explain things. Saved me $4000 in the long run.

Made the mistake of contacting Union Marine in Fife for routine service. We were told that they could not work on a boat older than 2003. We were also told that no shop would be able to service our boat until late July, early August. Not the case. We contacted Rick's. Mo told us that if we were able to drop off our boat in the next few days, we'd have it by July 4th. They totally delivered and our boat is home today. We used Rick's several years ago and made the mistake of not using them every year. That has since changed. Thanks Mo and everyone at Rick's Master Marine!

The workers are very helpful I will be going back only thing if you need your boat looked at or worked on they are so busy in summer time hard to get your boat in there to get worked on I went on 7/22 and I couldn't get an appt. till 8/20 so I had to go elsewhere that was way too long of a wait that's when it's the hottest out and the prime part of boating season in Seattle especially this summer with all the hot days recently I wanted to get out on water right away didn't want to wait damn near a whole month. Other than the wait very helpful & friendly with all my questions.

A gentleman here, I believe his name is Chuck, valiantly tried all last summer to fix my husband's ancient Mercury motor. This motor was a piece of garbage (literally) and Chuck actually had it running! We decided to purchase a new Honda motor this year and these folks treated us like family. Great service, best price and a staff that just can't be beat.

Do NOT bring your boat to Ricks Master Marine. They have been broken into 11 times in the last 2 years.When I went to pick up my boat they just shrugged their shoulders, they do not take any responsibility.
Find a place with good security. all they have is a chain link fence around the property and the burglars just cut holes in the fence.

Had the boat moored at S. Park for many years. Had any number of major and minor problems diagnosed and/or fixed by Ricks. Once you get over the sticker shock of bringing your boat to the shop, these guys always got us back up and running in a short period of time.
Mony is great! Very personable and certainly knows what he's talking about. He's willing to "divulge some secrets" so that you can fix your boat yourself. Always came through for us and miss doing boat business with these guys.
Made a decade or more of boat ownership a pleasure.

Bought brand new boat, pretty much everything on it has failed or need to be reprogrammed. I understand that things happen but master marine should have tried to make things right and they just left it up to us to trouble shoot and chase down warranties. They even charged travel time for stuff they sent out with no QC. very disappointing.

Had some trouble moving the steering wheel at the start of fishing season. Called these guys and brought the boat down. They lubed it up and sent us on our way!! Mony was super nice and friendly- we even walked out the door with a discount catalogue. We will definitely be taking the boat back here for service and accessories.
