Services
In early 2000, our founder and CEO, Terry Bruce found herself in what seemed like an impossible situation. A loved one has just relapsed again after another attempt at getting sober. They had tried one-on-one therapy, 12-step programs, the whole works, but he just kept relapsing. The cravings for alcohol were just too strong.
See what Assisted Recovery Center of GA patients say about our Savannah facilities and treatments for addiction and dependency below. As a leading detox center in the state of Georgia, we provide medically assisted intervention - not steps - to eliminate drugs and alcohol from patients' bodies and their lives.
This program is for clients who need medical intervention to eliminate benzodiazipines, which include Valium, Xanax and Klonipin, from his or her body. IF YOU ARE NOW SEEING A PHYSICIAN WHO HAS LEFT YOU ON SUBUTEX OR SUBOXONE (FOR OVER 1 YEAR)WITHOUT TAPERING YOU down to a LOW or NO dose OF IT SO YOU CAN LIVE A DRUG-FREE LIFE!
Alcohol abuse means having unhealthy or dangerous drinking habits, such as drinking every day or drinking too much at a time. Alcohol abuse can harm your relationships, cause you to miss work, and lead to legal problems such as driving while drunk (intoxicated). When you abuse alcohol, you continue to drink even though you know your drinking is causing problems.
Opiate abuse entails misusing prescribed opiates by taking them in a manner not prescribed for you. Opiate misuse can also entail utilizing other drugs in this class, including heroin, synthetic opioids such as fentanyl, and pain relievers illegally, such as oxycodone (OxyContin), hydrocodone (Vicodin), codeine, morphine, and many others.

This is the best place in Savannah for addiction treatment . The groups are full of all willing participants. They provide great education and wonderful individual counseling. I have experienced other treatment programs and this was by far the best I’ve been involved with. I just wish more people knew about it.

This horrible facility is unimaginably unprofessional in every way. I went seeking help and they prescribed drugs that are hastening my death. The physician prescribed inappropriate drugs detrimental to my condition, resulting in the need for a liver transplant.
No one is in charge, literally. If a refund is indicated, they refuse due their POLICY! A total scam.
