Robert Hall Winery
Crafted from acclaimed Paso Robles vineyards by winemaker Don Brady, the wines of Robert Hall are a tribute to hard work and pride in craft - a reward well-earned. At Robert Hall, we believe in putting in an honest day's work and crafting the very best wines possible. We do it by nurturing our scenic and diverse Paso Robles vineyards and by embracing a tradition of easy living through hard work.

Our wines are a tribute to a way of life and the reward for it. Each is a celebration of the honest pursuit. The 2019 Cavern Select Carignan has notes of olallieberry, plum, and lilac on the nose. Flavors of juicy bramble fruit and anise pair with dusty tannins on the medium bodied mid-palate. The wine finishes smooth with lingering dark fruit flavors.
Services
Founded on hard work and self-made prosperity, Robert Hall embodies the hard-working spirit that turned one man's vision into a truly world-class winery. A small-business visionary, Robert had a life-long passion for wine and the winery lifestyle. He viewed all his business success as a well-earned opportunity to venture west in search of the perfect landscape, and the perfect partner to help him realize his true dream.
The 2018 Cavern Select Dusi Zinfandel is a medium to full bodied wine with aromas and flavors of bramble, sweet tobacco, all spice, and dried herbs. The wines' rich mouthfeel and balanced acidity followed by dusty tannins on the finish. This collection of Rhone varietals are the perfect trio to help get you ready for the festivities.
From the start, Don Brady has led our winemaking team. Working hand in hand with our founder, Don's skill and devotion to Paso Robles helped establish the region as a distinct AVA in 1983, create the unique style the region is renowned for, and make it a favorite of wine lovers around the globe. While studying at Texas Tech University, Don worked at the Pheasant Ridge Vineyard and the University of Texas experimental wine and grape program.
It's been called "wine's next big thing, " but we just call it home. Located 20 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, Paso Robles is at the heart of the Central Coast wine region. Hot days end with coastal breezes that flow over the Santa Lucia Mountains, cooling the vineyards and delivering near perfect growing conditions year after year.
As an industry leader, we're serious about our goal to become a fully sustainable operation. In an effort to become a certified sustainable winery, we started our Sustainability Initiative in 2018, but our company has practiced a policy of conservation since its founding.

We're honored to receive official certification for our winery and estate vineyards from the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance, an industry-leading program that audits sustainable practices and continuous improvement among California's many vineyards. We've introduced a grower certification program through California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance that certifies growers who follow sustainability principles.

Well, we used to enjoy visiting this winery and really liked their Zinfandels...and we usually bought some. But they have gone off the deep end charging $25 for a tasting. Paso used to be a fun and friendly place, but if all the wineries will be charging this much, it's the end for us. Cater to the wealthy if that's what you want, but I think it may hurt you in the end.

Visited this winery 2 months ago and reviewed it then. At that time, we had such a poor experience, I was compelled to make note of it publicly.
To their credit - the winery responded to my post. I followed up with them directly and subsequently took another opportunity to revisit the winery. I can honestly say that we had a MUCH better experience this time around. Amazing how different your experience as a guest can be based on how well you are treated and taken care (or lack thereof). This time around, the staff person was attentive, gave appropriate sized pours, and allowed us to revisit a

Over priced wine. The tasting fee is 25.00 a person. When we walked in we instantly didn't feel welcomed. Very beautiful inside and outside. The COVID virus the last couple of years has been rough on everybody, so to just raise your tasting fee up and up is crazy. People want to feel welcome and have a good time when there out wine tasting. Robert Hall winery is not the same place I visited the past.

This winery is okay... I think I had high hopes for it. You get only four tastings for kind of an expensive price. They had the tasting menu preselected for you , which kind of sucks because all the wines on it - weren't my favorites at all. I wish they had a few other options to serve others palates. The service was okay . Wish there was music playing or something that would of made the vibe more chilled and relaxed. It was nice sitting outside; but I think more could make it better.

What a beautiful venue and such an attentive staff with EXCELLENT customer service! I loved one of their wines I sampled in a tasting and I ordered some shipped home. There was a delivery issue (not on their behalf) and they resolved it quickly and without any further problems. Definitely recommend the experience! ❤❤❤

Not worth it. Let me repeat - not worth it. Cost $100 for at tiny lunch a spashes of wine for the wine pairings. When we asked for a little more of the wine we liked, we were told no. Ridiculously overpriced forward tiny mediocre food and average wine. If you want good food and wine, go across the street to Vino Robles. You’ve been warned. Can’t figure out why this place has such high reviews when there are so many places that are better.

The Winery is a beautiful property. The tasting room area is very nice also, but I felt that they are a little stingy with their pours. Most other Vineyards that I've been to, they give you a little more than here. We tasted 4 wines and for the first time ever, I came out not liking any of their wines. Normally when I go wine tasting, there's usually at least 1 wine that either my wife and I enjoy and end up taking home a bottle, but here, there was nothing we liked enough to purchase. Just to make things clear, the 3 stars is for the amount they give you as part of the tasting.

They have a wine and food pairing that right now is $50 for 5 wine tastes paired with food. The food servings are generous and excellent and the best deal in the valley right now. When my husband told me we were going to this, I was dubious because in Napa, 5 tastings often means 5 single bites of food. At Robert Hall it means a beautifully prepared scallop w/ a thoughtfully pared sauce, a small duck confit toast, a quarter of a 5 spice Cornish game hen with forbidden rice and 3 slices of super tender, perfectly trimmed and cooked WAGYU tri tip with a mild quadruple cream blue cheese sauce over

We didn't have reservation when we came but there were plenty of space available and they were very accomodating. Our host was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable.
Price is $20 per tasting, pretty high for not very good wine (at least for us)
Ambience was great inside and outside. We prefer inside with the AC because it was hot out. It's also nice that they have a food pairing option.
We didn't like the wines much...out of the 6 wines we tasted we only liked the last one (it was the shirah) and the very first one we tasted was actually really nasty (i forgot what it was, it was

Amazing wines, mediocre service, excellent food, beautiful buildings with weird furniture. Worth visiting.

Robert Hall had our favorite wines by far for our most recent trip to Paso. We all stocked up on several bottles.

Decor is a bit weird - the building itself is very Restoration Hardware but the furniture was a bit Facebook marketplace.

We also had lunch here - the food came out quick and was delicious. The sandwiches were amazing but the cheese plate was very underwhelming.

Overall, a nice spot in Paso with great food!

We just drove 8 hours from Utah to purchase a case of wine from here. We were disappointed in the man who helped us. We grew up in California. We chit chat with the man about living in Utah and he was apologetic that we lived there. He didn't really seem interested in talking to us or really making us feel welcome. We still bought a case of wine and just felt unwelcome

This is a beautiful expansive estate winery with a large tasting room and friendly knowledgeable staff. The Syrah and Meritage were my favorites with great structure and balance while being fruit forward. Highly recommended if you are in Paso exploring wineries!

We had a wonderful tasting experience. Rich was very friendly and knew all about the wines. He even recommended a couple places we might try next. Their location is beautiful. We left with a case of wines, and actually purchased every wine from our tasting, which pretty much never happens!

Yesterday we had a wonderful experience at Robert Hall after a horrible experience elsewhere. (See review from yesterday) Robert Hall wines were very good AND the staff was exceptional. Specifically ALYSSA!!!This gal was very nice and inviting: Alyssa made us feel so welcome. We came back tonight and watched live music and a wonderful time! Thank you Alyssa! Thank you Robert Hall for fine wine and an outstanding staff! Great time. We will be back!

Upon arrival to our food and wine pairing lunch reservation we were greeted immediately and chose our table. The Server poured a complimentary tasting and proceeded to let the chef know we arrived.
The food and wine were served with the perfect amount of time spacing. The Server explained each coarse, both the food and wine as he was serving it to us.
After lunch our server allowed us to purchase wine bottles to take with us and also bought another glass to enjoy the rest of our visit.
Towards the end of our visit the Chef greeted us and shared his passion for the food and menu. He let us

This review is for their "Take Home Tasting Kit" that I received as a gift. It contains 5 tastings for 2 in glass bottles and it costs $30. I liked their 2017 Cavern Select Zinfandel and the 2017 Cavern Select Cabernet Sauvignon. I did not like any of the other 3 wines included in the box.

The tasting kit does not tell you that you must enjoy the wine within 72 hours of purchase. The to-go tasting box from Mitchella Winery (2 minutes from down the road) included this information, a discount code and overall just a nicer box. However, Robert's tasting bottles are bigger for $10

A friend was recalling the time we visited Robert Hall Winery the other day and I realized no review was ever left. Which I am definitely rectifying now.

I first visited Robert Hall Winery as a guest during the Fishing Pig Festival back in 2018. If one ever has a chance to attend this event don't think twice. At sunset we noshed on beautifully curated charcuterie boards, tasted dozens of wines and roamed the gorgeous grounds of Robert Hall. The highlight of the evening, besides the delicious wines, was the BBQ. The food was absolutely phenomenal. BBQ was catered by Morro Bay's finest

Visited on a very busy Saturday afternoon. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Our server suggested we order the cheese pairing to enjoy with the wine, and that was definitely an excellent suggestion. The cheese selections were so good with the wines. We did enjoy the wines as well. Came away with quite a few bottles of wine. It is a lovely place and they were observing all COVID precautions.

Robert Hall provides a lovely experience for wine tasting. Appointments are required and seating is very much spaced out to ensure social distancing. They have a beautiful patio where everyone is seated for their tasting.

It costs $15 pp for wine tasting with the amount credited with the purchase of 2 bottles of wine. Each tasting consists of 5 carafes of wine and a bottle of cold water. They deliver the flight of wine all at once with minimal explanation. Descriptions of each wine are written on a card. There were two people taking care of all the guests so they didn't have much time

Initial Impression:
Wow! When you drive on and enter the small parking lot it will definitely make you say WOW. It is beautiful from the outside.

Wine Tasting:
So for the tasting you are seated outside on a couch where the host/hostess will prepare you a flight of wine. You will be given all the wine right away. There is pros and cons to this. Pro: You can ultimately
