Symbiosis is a boutique winery located in the heart of downtown Paso Robles. All wines are created from hand selected grapes from high quality Paso Robles vineyards. Step out of your comfort zone and try a Sparkling White Barbera, Nebbiolo, or Tempranillo. 40% Tempranillo / 27% Syrah / 33% GrenacheDark yet bright - with texture you can feel - mysterious.

Still a bit 'young' seeming, even though it's now almost 10 years old! Dark dark dark, and dry. This wine is more austere than you might expect - the tannins are finally smoothing out and it has become a serious dinner companion.

Walked in here because we had a coupon that we received from another winery. Unfortunately it was no longer valid but we decided to do it anyway. $15 for...I think it was like 6 or 7 tastings or something?? I forgot since it was a couple weeks ago. They were smaller pours than typical but it was nice to try a lot of wines and def worth the money!

Very intimate and the owner is just the best. We tasted the wines and talked about how she got into the industry (she was a microbiologist!). She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate. All the wines were yummy and she runs a very "green" business. If you're downtown, go and visit this wonderful winery and it's owner and just have a fun time.

I popped into the Symbiosis tasting room & asked if there was availability for a tasting for me & 3 friends. The winemaker, Glenna, said yes but she did have a reservation an hour later. She wanted to be sure she could provide good service to her reservation & we acknowledged that we would not deter from her guests with a reservation.
She set us up with an intimate & lovely tasting experience. Not only is she a gracious host & knowledgeable vintner, she makes AMAZING wine! We tasted her entire collection & we loved each & every one! She really knows her stuff. Her tasting

My wife and I were driving back to our hotel in downtown Paso Robles and wanted one more wine tasting before an evening walk then dinner. We asked Siri for nearby options and the first one listed, Symbiosis, was also the most highly rated. So, we popped in and learned why! The owner, Glenna, had one client doing a tasting and they invited us to join them. While we were unable to go into the tasting room, i was so impressed by the owner and the service she provided. My friend and I were visiting Paso Robles for the first time to sample the area wines. She said if we were willing to take a chance without trying the wine first, she would deliver to our hotel when we arrived. We decided to try a Torrontés and a Nebbiolo. True to her word, the wine was delivered within five minutes of our arrival. The wine was very pleasant and was a perfect start to a great weekend!

My boyfriend and i visited Paso Robles on a wine excursion. I was a bit hesitant to visit at first, due to the pictures I saw online. I thought it would be drab and uninteresting. I was incredibly wrong. It's actually quite a zen, very welcoming atmosphere, what with the calming blue and green tones. There's a sense of personality to the place; decorations on the tree, interesting photographs in the wall, etc. The owner, Glena, was so kind and knowledgeable. My boyfriend and I had dinner reservations at Il Cortile 15 minutes before Sybiosis closed. We took a chance by popping our heads in to see if we could catch a glass of wine or a tasting before our reservation. Glenna, the owner, was extremely welcoming, knowledgeable and the wine was fantastic! She took us through a little speed tasting, which I wish we had had more time to do because it was so eye opening and enjoyable. Our reservation ended up running behind and we got to have a wonderful, full experience. We took home two bottles of wine - one which we paired with dinner and both of the wine

We stopped by this tasting room for the sold out Autumn Wine Stroll (it was our check in tasting room). The food pairing and wine was great and they were very accommodating even though they were busy. We decided to come back the next day for some wine tasting and boy are we glad we did... wines were great and Glenna sat with us and visited and told us about how she started. We had a great time and highly recommend Glenna and her wines to anyone we see. Thanks Glenna for making our experience so wonderful!!!!!

Pass. Your tone was astounding, and that's coming from someone who was in an incredibly good mood at the time after a ribeye, and a glass of cab so good I had to call around and find more of it for that night. The person I was with even looked surprised at how you sounded. I'm glad you can at least own up to the fact that it was you? But that question can't possibly be a rarity when you're in a tourist destination, around the corner from a hotel. I hope other visitors have a better experience with you, and I hope you learn to hide your disappointment a little better with people

While there are so many wineries to visit in Paso Robles, some with national recognition, it is easy to overlook some of the hidden treasures like Symbiosis! The tasting room and winery are located in downtown Paso Robles. The owner/winemaker Glenna is warm and hospitable, and eager to share both her wines and wealth of information with you. She sources grapes from carefully selected vineyard sites, and seeks out vineyards that she feels have unique characteristics to produce a range of wine styles.

Love this little winery! Amazing tasting for a great price! My husband and I enjoyed our first visit and had the opportunity to speak with Glenna the owner/winemaker. She is so down to earth and fun to talk to!

My wife and I ended up here while on a random life adventure. This small winery is run by one totally awesome woman who does everything herself. Glenna is great to talk to and has so much passion for what she does.
I'm not a wine expert, but I think her Syrah is definitely worth a stop by. Tastings are only $5 - but you're going to leave with a bottle or two. We'll definitely be back.

Hidden Gem in downtown Paso Robles. Glenna the owner/winemaker extraordinaire went out of her way to show my family, who was visiting from out of town, the winemaking process. An added plus to our wine tasting experience. I normally don't drink reds, but I was able to tolerate all of Symbosis Reds. The Rose' is my favorite. Amazing wine and boutique winery. Thanks Glenna.

My friends and I came to Paso to tour Firestone Brewing and ended up spending our evening here at Symbiosis! We had a great experience and learned a lot from Glenna. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable about everything we asked. I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the Paso area. What a terrific learning experience for all of us!
