Chelsea Commons Apartments

This complex is the absolute worse. All the reviews are correct they never answer the phone. Jasmine hates her job, brings her daughter there and has terrible customer service. Sophia has no idea what she is doing. Sophia gave me conflicting information. Today was supposed to be my move in day. Look at the photos below, this is how they gave me the apartment. It was excuses of the unit having no power which prevented the cleaning crew from going in. This is absolutely unacceptable. Especially in Covid times. I applied for the apartment June 6. Please explain why this complex waited last minute

I recently moved into Chelsea Commons and its a nice clean place to live . The office staff is very nice and helpful they made the move in process very easy.

They don't even bother answer the phone even if you call in everyday just to ask for information. I stop by the office one day thinking they are close which they are not. I got inside the leasing office. There was one lady just sitting behind the desk talking with her friend just chatting.

I do NOT live here. I contacted the office for more information and the person who answered sounds like they hate there job. As soon as she answered the phone, he huffed, I asked one question(regarding the max income), she answered me and quickly hung up. I see what the previous reviews are saying.

This is a wonderful community. The office ladies are a great help and very nice. The maintenance team work quickly. I put in a request for a washer and dyer and the guys came out and installed it quickly.

I should of known they were horrible when NO one answered the phone. I had to go to the office and get the info, go back to give them the application and requested documents. I was told they were call me the next day. 3 days later no call and of course no one answers. I went to the office to see if I was approved, 1st the girl seemed annoyed that I came in @ 5:30pm, then she fumbled through some papers and then said “you weren’t approved, you have an collections on your credit from sprint”. I just walked away.First of all the sprint collections is from 6 years ago, I thought this was HUD

They have inconsistent rates. I have a 2/2 and my friend is in a 3/2 and pays $100 plus less in rent. My friend is not receiving an governmental. We have both been there for 6 years and her rent has never increased, while every year mine increase by $40-50.
I'm five months into my new lease, which expires in Sept. of 2021 and they are trying to raise my rent by $75, in the middle of my FIXED lease.

If I could rate them zero stars, I would. They are absolutely HORRIBLE!!! They are completely inconsiderate! My father has lived there longer than he should and when he eventually moved out. They tried to charge him with fees and fines without proving anything. After a month of calling back and forth and threaten them with legal actions they admit there "errors." My father is an immigrant and probably thought they could run games on him. Little did they know he have kids that would fight to all of eternity for him and his rights! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. These apartments are not worth $1600
