Certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery, Dr. Jerold Olson is a facial plastic surgeon in Tucson. He is a native of Southern Arizona and was educated both as an undergraduate and medical student at the University of Arizona.
After graduating from medical school, Dr. Olson began general surgery training at the University of Texas San Antonio, followed by a residency in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern.He completed a fellowship in facial plastic surgery at the prestigious Hedgewood Surgical Center in New Orleans, LA under the preceptorship of Dr. Calvin Johnson.

I couldn’t be happier with my experiences at Foothills Dermatology and also with Dr. Jerold Olson. There were no surprises, no unanswered questions and I always felt totally comfortable with how my procedures would be handled and what to expect before and after. My husband and I have both seen eye specialists who were the best at what they do, but had no bedside manner. If they’re the best, I don’t mind if they don’t want to involve you or talk to you, but with Dr. Olson you get not only the best, but someone you can actually laugh with and feel totally comfortable with. Not honest or ethical, IMO. Did a consult, and was ready to do the procedure, but his staff prescribed me a drug I had told them I could not take... when advised, they sent in another prescription, good for only ONE days worth of use, absurd. Dr. Olsen got snarky about the whole thing and refused to reschedule the surgery.
AVOID this guy, there are many better in town with less personality issues.

Multiple issues /surgeries for a chin implant. Perhaps I just had bad luck but my implant is still asymmetrical. To their credit, they did try to rectify the chin issue at no cost to me other than my expenses for multiple flights to return to Tucson. The nose issues I presented with were not even addressed during surgery. Good bedside manner.

8 weeks ago Dr. Olson performed a rhinoplasty on me.After searching for other plastic surgeons around Arizona, I quickly booked Dr. Olson because Mercy, his staff and him made me feel at peace. One of the better decisions I’ve ever made to improve my appearance was to walk into Dr. Jerold Olson’s office in Tucson and describe to him what I wanted done with my face. He understood completely what I was saying and was able to tell me exactly how he could make it happen. Four months and one lip lift later, I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I got back the smile I had years ago with virtually no downtime, discomfort, or unsightly recovery. I highly recommend both Dr. Olson and Mercy, his RN extraordinaire. I've been putting off revision surgery for quite awhile until I found the right doctor. After seeing many doctors over the years, once I met Dr. Olson I felt comfortable moving forward. He knew exactly what I was hoping for, was kind throughout the whole process and helped me feel at ease. Mercy is also incredible and has been very helpful through the whole process. No help if you have hair loss. They will tell you to go but OTC Monoxidil or deal with the hair loss. No discussion of the importance of a woman’s hormones or ferritin level. Very condescending and rude. Best thing to do is find and Functional Integrative medicine clinic and a compounding pharmacy. OTC Monoxidil is nasty.

Dr. Olson is a master of making women look beautiful naturally. It starts with a very attentive and professional staff. Helpful reminders about my appointment and no long wait times. I saw 4 other doctors before I chose Dr. Olson. This man called me the night before my surgery and after to check on me! Dr. Olson performed a remarkable and delicate change to my neckline, and the supportive post-surgery team is terrific. Always in touch, always available, always accommodating. The cost is very reasonable, and I recommended Dr. Olson for some of my friends who already called and scheduled their procedures. I had been to several Plastic Surgey consultations and when I went to Dr. Olson I felt confident right away what I didn't feel with the other Doctors. Dr. Olson was very professional and knowledgeable and was not pushy at all. Mercy his RN was the most sweet, caring person from beginning to end.
